What? It’s unethical to take over a government agency, undermine its work, and purchase stock in companies who benefit from the subsequent lack of oversight?

Who’d have thought government was so complex? Good thing we’ve got Trump’s genius brain in charge.

Jesus. Why the hell wasn’t this discovered in the confirmation project. Since it’s Patriot's Last Game /Superbowl week, here’s a suggestion for Congress, stolen from the Pat’s organization: Do your job!

My God, she’s gone because she can’t function in her duties, because she would have to recuse herself of most of her duties, because of her investments?

CDC Director investing in tobacco AFTER she’s already in her post. Tobacco?

WTAFF?

Drain the Swamp…that Trump keeps pouring slop into.

" Dr. Fitzgerald owns certain complex financial interests"

Seems to be another new buzz phrase over the last year. Right along with “To spend time with the family”.

I read it as, made a dumb ass move and someone noticed.

Don’t worry, Trump will find an even more craven kleptocrat to replace her.

Well, all I can say is the press really is doing its job (for the most part)

This lady’s finances can’t be anywhere nearly as convoluted as Donald’s – and her job is a wrung or two lower than Donald’s. If she has to leave due to complexity of finances getting in her way, there is no way in hell the same scrutiny would allow Donald a slide.

GTHO of the WH, Donald!!

Maybe they should have some kind of prescreening of people proposed for government position before they actually get appointed…naw too much trouble…

Due to the nature of these financial interests, Dr. Fitzgerald could not divest from them in a definitive time period,

She was told sending her financial advisor a "sell" order strapped to the back of a mule wasn't a good idea. But noooooo, she knew better.
