Guess I’ll have to get a bag of popcorn.
Who can actually listen to Trump for 5 minutes without thinking “25th Amendment”?
I just think of things he’s said in the past and feel that way. God this announcement today was a prime example. He doesn’t have a fucking clue what he’s doing, not one little fuck.
MCCABE: I can’t confirm that. But what I can say is the deputy attorney general was definitely very concerned about the president, about his capacity and about his intent at that point in time.
PELLEY: How did he bring up the idea of the 25th Amendment to you?
MCCABE: Honestly, I don’t remember. He– it was just another kinda topic that he jumped to in the midst of– of– of a wide-ranging conversation.
What’s with McCabe earlier denial? Am I missing something?
Ben Carson, Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mark Meadows, SHS, Linda Mcmahon…
OK, I should have specified “What right-minded, non-treasonous person could actually listen…”
He and Rosenstein are now feuding.
Justin Amash, Lisa Murkowski, John Kennedy, Tim Scott, Charlie Den…
I’d have included Heller, but then Jacky Rosen’s lawyers would remind me of the obvious.
This is the excerpt from the book which is up at the Atlantic. There’s no mention of a 25th Amendment discussion between McCabe and Rosenstein, but there is a description of McCabe having to listen to Fatso describe his wife as a loser when she ran for a seat in the VA state senate and didn’t win
"Yeah, that must’ve been really tough. To lose. To be a loser.”
@tena He’s the guy with all the insults.
I say, I say discussing the Constitution is an attack upon the Constitution! The first rule of Constitution Club is don’t talk about Constitution Club! Does anybody really care about “amendments” after the first dozen!?
Sometimes being Right-minded gets in the way of being in your right mind.
Some people only do the 2nd and the 5th…
I suppose that it has something to do with the qualification “extended discussions.”
I mean, it isn’t necessary to have extended discussions about whether its justified.
“it was just another kinda topic that he jumped to in the midst of– of– of a wide-ranging conversation”
Translation: we were on our fourth glass of bourbon.
I keep telling folks that the majority of modern day conservatives and Republicans saw his win as a sign from God.
Or a green light, at any rate…
That’s what I tell people when they say all will go back to normal after Trump…
O/T – Putin is really on a roll.
