Still, Steven is very liberal; I’ve seen him being interviewed and know his personal slant and I feel it will change once he goes mainstream into CBS.
I’ve seen it before; people are one way when they are guest hosting and when they go corporate they change.
And you can lose the condescension, darrtown. It’s not necessary.

I am so sick of hearing about “conservative outrage” every time their overly sensitive feathers are ruffled. It seems they feel entitled to vote every decision they don’t get to make or don’t like “off the island.” I call it ‘Survivor Syndrome’. And about Rush sounding the alarm… I can hear it now. “The Liberals are coming! The Liberals are coming!”

Colbert is very liberal. That being said he isn’t ‘insane’. Why ANYONE would think they would be bashed all the time is the usual victimization…ginned up by Billo and Rush. He will be fine.

Rush doesn’t care; he needs outrageous soundbites to fill his airtime.
So Jay Leno was a hard core Republican while hosting the Tonight Show. No one complained about it. It is only the right wing who whines when they do not get what they want, knowing all too well the media will likely kowtow to them.

The cons don’t like Letterman either. They have this curious ability to label anything they don’t like as “liberal” and believe they won the debate.
