Limbaugh revealed his inner paranoia with his response to the choice of Colbert to replace Letterman. 'nuf said.

The less people care about what conservatives think, the closer to a decent society we’ll be.

That was well said, darrtown.

That would be really good bumper sticker.

Anybody else see that a post has to be twenty characters?

That’s odd. One would think they would encourage brevity.

BTW TPM. I like the new comment section.

Conservatives don’t get that Colbert was playing a character on his show. Because they aren’t.

And this, my friends, is why I wasn’t jumping up and celebrating when I heard he was picked to replace Letterman.
He’s going to go over and dance to the tunes of whatever the conservative big wigs want to hear. He’ll have to toe the line for the businesses, because gawd forbid he be liberal. The horror.

I don’t think the Stephen Corbert of The Colbert Report will be the same when he goes mainstream on CBS. And that saddens me.

They also don’t understand that the format of THE LATE SHOW is completely different from that of THE COLBERT REPORT. I seriously doubt Stephen will be any more left of center than Letterman was. David made it clear that he was a Dem and usually supported the Dems but that was about it.

Moonves should have responded, “Who cares what that racist, misogynistic Limbaugh says?”

what difference would the wingnut faction make anyway? they are not going to tune in - most have pulled on their overnight Depends by 11:00 or earlier and gone to bed… think about it - what are they watching now? Letterman - not likely? Fallon & the Roots? HA… Kimmel? nope… Conan ? surely not…
actually for most - the TV may be on - but they are asleep…

"CBS has just declared war on the Heartland of America," Limbaugh said.</blockquote)

Maybe it’s just me, but I always thought Limbaugh represented more of the Rectum of America.

Yeah, I fear this begins the long, slow descent into Lettermanesque mediocrity.

That’s right Mooves, check your balls at the door.

More like the appendix - no purpose and potentially can make you sick … the rectum actually has a valuable function.

Oh no! Colbert might alienate that key Conservative demographic?
No ads for stairlifts, Medicare scooters,“Low T” treatments and incontinence shields?
It’s doomed unless maybe it can pick up a “Buy Gold” sponsor.

Yep. Limpass represents the lower Southern portion of the body politic in this country. That’d be the asshole of America…The Deep South.

I sincerely apologize. My comment was demeaning and grossly unfair.

To rectums.

It’s been 20 characters for a while.
Sometimes when I have a short post I follow it with periods.
