Yes, and I can “hope” that Scrooge McDuck will make me his sole heir. I think mine has a “better” chance of coming true.
Ain’t gonna happen with this prez. And Cassidy knows it.
As a doctor, Cassidy is better off staying as Congressman. It’s not poor communication or just poor communication. It’s a sociopathic level of lack of empathy. It’s almost a form of solipsism, where Trump can only be aware and concerned with his own feelings and thoughts, to the exclusion of everyone else’s.
“Again, I can’t get into the President’s mind. We communicate differently. I am a doctor, so maybe I am more used to talking about emotions and bad things than other people are,”
Psst… Donald… he just called you a dumbass. Are you gonna just sit there and take that kind of lip from one of “your” Senators? Like a weak little baby?
This kind of weak whining is all you can get from Republicans, who are captive to the Trump A-hole-American base.
Yet some liberals and progressives are beating themselves up about not being empathic enough toward Trump voters! Here’s a shot blog that explains why they shouldn’t:
Enjoy!
Cassidy said on CNN Thursday. “That said, in a tough emotional situation,
Ha ha ha! Trumps the emotional equivilant of a two year old. Any day he has to act like an adult is a "tough emotional situation" for him.
What Cassidy is doing here is quite reprehensible in its own right. He is attempting to normalize the President’s behavior and just chalk it up to mistaken communication.
Its not. And there is already mounting evidence on just this one issue, that it’s not just a one off, mistake.
We all know that if this had been a Democratic President, Cassidy would be shoving himself to the front of the line calling for his head.
And that is the real problem the GOP is having with the Trump Presidency. He is so horrid, that he lays bare just how partisan they are in their every action; there is zero cover provided.
Another in a long string of unprecedented, astonishing, and previously unimaginable things: a Senator from his own party saying the President needs to get better at communicating with the families of armed forces personnel killed in action. How shocked is that town right now? I’m not sure people fully realize how schizoid it can be, when you hear what they’re saying off the record.
I can’t get into the President’s mind.
Every cloud has its silver lining. This is something you should be eternally grateful for.
Cassidy doesn’t just paper-mâché over a turd; he does it gladly.
I am a doctor, so maybe I am more used to talking about emotions and bad things than other people are.
Yeah indeed, last I checked you authored and touted a “health care bill” that would cause lots of bad things and throw people into uncertainty and anxiety.
Idiot.
If you can’t speak specifically, sincerely, and gratefully to the families of dead soldiers, you have no business being commander in chief.
The problem isn’t the difficulty of getting into the President’s mind, it’s the difficulty in getting out.
Is that right, Mr Kelly?
Man, I’ve had morning dumps after a bad night of eating pizza and beef/bean burritos that were more intelligent than this bucket-headed motherfucker.
Paul Ryan: Trump is still learning how to communicate with humans. He is not from Washington. We will give him more time.
Trump turns something Republicans (purportedly) stand on over on its head and they tie themselves into knots trying to justify it. And the great unwashed Republican base, who also (purportedly) care inordinately about our troops swallow it whole.
But kneeling during the national anthem at a freaking football game, oh that’s serious disrespect.
It boggles the mind.
What kind of doctor is this guy?
I am always suspicious of “doctors” who leave their practice to become professional assholes politicians…
You beat me to it. I second that emotion.
