Discussion: Carter Page Now Says Sanctions ‘May Have Come Up’ During Russia Trip (VIDEO)

Me thinks it has now – finally – sunk in to Mr. Page that the US knows exactly what they talked about because they were listening.

If I were interviewing him, I would ask him “Do you know -----?” and rattle off 10 names. Then I would say these are the people associated with Russia’s hacking of the election who have died in recent months. “Any comment?”

He’s the Kato Kaelin of the Russia conspiracy. I hope he isn’t moving a piano soon.

I am very curious about the psychological mechanisms of making obsessively repeated TV appearances to make oneself look even more suspicious and guilty.

Russian sanctions that were imposed by the Obama Administration can be something you don’t recall if you are talking to people being sanctioned (and who I’m sure would be chomping at the bit to discuss). It’s kinda like forgetting the soda when you go to the grocery store for soda. No biggie y’all. Emails are wayyyyy more important. #LockHerUp

And dangerous to people who might pay you but more likely would kill you.

He looks like a guy in freefall who’s smiling all the way to the sidewalk.

I am of the belief that this guy is not bright enough to figure that out. He should have shut his yap months ago.

Safe space. He’s not going to be assassinated when he’s in the studio. He’s nervous because he can’t stay.

Is this man incapable of finding legal representation? What lawyer would allow his client to do interviews like this?

Answering with a question: What lawyer would take this goof on as a client? You’d only lower your lifetime batting average.

Then at this point he needs to live there… :expressionless:

But firing him as a client would be fun, and so incriminating.

Well, the negotiating textbooks do have a references to negotiating PARTLY against one’s own interest. So if he has someone talking behind the scenes to The Authorities, this could be along the lines of “I know this and this and this too, but I know a lot more…I’ll spill it, but only if it’s in my interest to do it.” And he is only telling information that’s already known.
Only explanation I can see

Big insight here! There’s something distinctly wrong with this guy…too. He can’t even control his facial expression. Dumbass should look gravely serious, but instead he seems to have a mouthful of chipmunks who keep pulling his mug into a variety of smirks. Or maybe it’s a headful of chittering weasels scrabbling at his synapses. If he graduated from Annapolis, I hope they never contemplated his having command of anything bigger than a rubber duckie.
