Chill. We call it whistleblowing. The Government calls it breach of trust.
What a hole.
Fantastic. Kinda like âUndercover Bossâ where the boss is a total prick. Brilliant.
I guess he never heard of E Germany and the Stasi.
I REALLY doubt he has. I you asked him he wouldnât know what you were talking about.
Rubioâs continuing to have major financial problems in his personal life but heâs got a billionaire sugar daddy propping him. Hope youâre right about Carson.
I worked in the very conservative USDA Forest Service for 32 years. There were many right wingers working there and some of them were quite lazy. When confronted about this one fellow told me âthat is why i got this job, everybody knows government employees are not expected to work.â Needless to say, he had few friends at work and was viewed with open contempt by some. My experience was that most government workers are dedicated people who really serve America.
Obviously Dr Carson is ignorant of a unique institution within the federal workforce. It seems government employees work for this thing called a supervisor, who in turn is held responsible for productivity. Clearly this is something that does not exist elsewhere and is understandably outside of Carsonâs experience.
Uncle Benâs Reich Krispies
Exactly so. Heâs turning out to be the biggest turd in the bowl.
The Ministry for State Security (German: Ministerium fĂźr Staatssicherheit, MfS), commonly known as the Stasi (IPA: [ËĘtaËziË]) (abbreviation German: Staatssicherheit, literally State Security), also State Security Service (German Staatssicherheitsdienst, SSD), was the official state security service of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), colloquially known as East Germany. It has been described as one of the most effective and repressive intelligence and secret police agencies to have ever existed.[2][3][4][5][6][7] The Stasi was headquartered in East Berlin, with an extensive complex in Berlin-Lichtenberg and several smaller facilities throughout the city. The Stasi motto was âSchild und Schwert der Parteiâ (Shield and Sword of the Party), referring to the ruling Socialist Unity Party of Germany (SED).
One of its main tasks was spying on the population, mainly through a vast network of citizens turned informants
Wow. Secret police. What an absolute nutter.
âIL DUCEâ Carson for President!!
Sounds like a foolproof plan. I often remark at how efficient the private company I work for is, due to all of the undercover operatives working in the office.
Itâs a good think his former patientsâ records are confidential because the first burning question coming to my mind is how may errors were made in his medical practice, where his ridiculous, punitive mentality of spying on people because he can, looking for excuses to fire someone because he has power and considers it his birthright to lord it over somebody, reigns supreme. Volumes of medical literature prove that such a vindictive organizational mindset encourages cover ups while doing nothing to promote safety.
Itâs so sad that Daniel Strauss doesnât know how to read or write. First sentence of story: âIf heâs elected president, Republican 2016 presidential Ben Carson said he might set up a âcovert divisionâ of government employees to monitor coworkers in order to make government more efficient.â
Can we get some quality control around here, a.k.a. copy editors or proofreaders?
Stalin does it = example of the tyranny and failure of âliberalismâ
Carson does it = âimprovingâ government
What is the sound of one Ben clapping?
Next thing will be âblock watchersâ to report on the neighbors. Then the old woman near the elevator in the hotel to survey the âcomings and goingsâ of the guests.
Reminds me of Soviet Russia or Eat Germany back in the good ole days of the Cold War.
Rubio can stay in the game as long as A) he doesnât talk much, and therefore doesnât say really stupid stuff and B) other people DO say stupid stuff to draw attention from the fact that there isnt much there.
B will definitely happen at least through SC and NV. A is always a question with any GOPer. Eventually the field will start to narrow and B wonât protect him any longer, but he may have stayed in long enough to look like a viable VP by then.
OhâŚand C) Bush has to drop out or Rubio has to best him in FL. If neither happens, Rubio is going nowhere.
"Employees would work harder if they believed some of their coworkers were secretly spying on them, he added. "
This is right out of Stalinâs playbook of paranoia.
A cursory search indicates several cases where Carson was close to a suit but things were dealt with âŚahem⌠meaning $$ was exchanged so that he wouldnât end up in court. Technically he can still say heâs never been sued.
No, he doesnât think through any of his ideas because he is a political rube, and he is so arrogant he believes that every idea that flashes across his brain is brilliant.
