I saw this film and it was brilliant and scared the daylights out of me. The only other German film that scared me this much was Downfall, about Hitler’s last days in the bunker.
It was very scary to me as well. The interesting thing is that there was no physically violent behavior at all in the movie.
That’s right, just coldly efficient and thoroughly methodical. Another very interesting German film if they’re your thing is Run, Lola, Run, recommended to me by a neighbor who is from Frankfurt and pays attention to all things German in American culture
Wrong thinking is punishable; right thinking will be as quickly rewarded. You will find it an effective combination.
Fascism, party of 30 million, your table is ready!
No.
You are too kind.
You got that right.
A conservative proposing to expand the federal government, to employee people just to spy on other federal employees? Oh, and to be covert (read: non-transparent about all of this). Out with civil service, out with personnel management, out with due process or any semblance of process. We have the Carson gestapo (or did I just overplay that?)
Well at least he’ll have no problem with Putin should be become President. How long before journalists start “disappearing” and entire industries become the property of his fraternity brothers?
“If he’s elected president…” something has went horribly awry.
One of my favorite films. If you liked this you will also like The Black Book. Check it out
I am sure Dr. Carson was a big fan of Joe McCarthy
Dr Carson has no idea who Sen McCarthy is/was.
I’d bet cash.

Ben Carson continues to make an abject fool out of himself in public. It’s sort of sad, really.
Well, except for their sister, and their son, and their daughter-in-law, and their cousins. They’re all hard-working, conscientious public servants.
Keep in mind, this is a guy who has two SuperPACs trying to grift the same marks, and can’t get his arms around it…to the point that people are actually leaving his campaign to go work for the SuperPACs.
So yeah, its pretty safe to say he doesn’t have a clue about how to make organizations work efficiently.
Well, you may be right but it’s difficult to believe -even through osmosis one should have some idea who he was.
His campaign staffing problems are going to be what dooms him, probably sometime around the middle of the debates. That, and from the outside, it appears that haven’t a clue about finances or the necessary mundane details required to run. Remember Gingrich forgetting to get on the ballot in Virginia? Imagine that about 100x worst.
So we would have the Nazi patrol
It’s past time for reporters to interview those who worked in his department at John Hopkins, including anyone at any level. Being a wacko does not start with early retirement. Which reminds me: what surgeon retires from even running a department at 63?
