Obscene.

Hey, you f&cking Uncle Tom?

Holy Shit. Carson just equated forcefully relocating human slaves with immigration.

Will the madness stop now please?

This entire administration lives in Opposite World. Willfully.

It’s a mystery to me how this man functions on a daily basis much less made it thru medical school and apparently had an accomplished career.

He’s a real life Forest Gump.

He is in a mission to out-dumb Betsy DeVos , who last week equated segregation with “school choice”.

Let’s cut him some slack. Slaves were immigrants–involuntary immigrants, but immigrants nonetheless. And who is to say that some of them did not dream of a day when they, or their descendants would be free, and live on equal terms with other people.

Remember the spiritual: “Go down, Moses/Way down in Egypt’s land/Tell old Pharaoh/Let my people go.”

The idiot-savant strikes again…

Just how Orwellian is the term “Forced Immigration”?

But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great grandsons, great granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land

They might have been in chains, but they had their eye on the prize: McMansions of their own, which would make it all worthwhile. Or, maybe pyramids where they could store their grain. Whatever.

“Obscene” is the closest word I can think of to describe this.

Damn you, Ben Carson, damn your Uncle Tom hide.

I just don’t know what to make of this dude. Idiot savant, Aspergers? Everything that Carson says is a “say what?” monent.

Addendum. IMO, I think Carson is relatively harmless in comparison to the other deplorables on the Trump Team. And I think he’ll be of enormous help to “The News of the Weird’s” bottom line.

“There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great grandsons, great granddaughters might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land.”

By selling out to a GOP agenda for screwing immigrants, minorities, and everyone but the Billionaire Class?

Dr. Carson’s ancestors, however they got here, roll in their graves.

“They worked not for themselves but for their sons and their daughters and their grandsons and their granddaughters that they might have an opportunity in this land. That’s what America is about: a land of dreams and opportunity."

Oh. My. God.
How do you think the HUD employees reacted to this (yet another) insane person?

Edit: "Not eight hours a day but 10, 12, 16 hours a day – no such thing as a minimum wage.”
Jeebus H Christ. I guess we have a lot of gall to ask for a Living Minimum Wage these days, for Ben Carson’s slaves were damn happy to be whipped and beaten for 16 hours a day, and then they showed up for work early the next day!

How unbelievably white washed is this guy’s history of his own ancestors?

This is what you get when America gets stupider every year.

Shame on all of the Democrats who voted to confirm this imbecile. I shouldn’t be surprised, but the ignorance of this man is beyond belief. There are no words that could possibly adequately describe the awfulness of his statement.

You couldn’t have a more egregious, mind-blowing juxtaposition than having this asshat be a brain surgeon.
