I agree it’s us against them, with them defined as them that ain’t us. But racism aside, conservative ideology is also convenient for justifying corporate theft, oppression and war. All necessary for the 1% to feel good about themselves and american exceptionalism.

California has 17.7 million registered voters the majority of whom are Democrats and we have to wait until June 7, when nothing we vote on will count.

Why call Tucker and Laura “pundits”? Pundit indicates to me someone of intelligence who expounds on some subject they are familiar with. I think it’s a long stretch to consider either of these people pundits.

Our primary here in AZ is March 22nd. But the number of delegates from AZ isn’t worth the effort.
Pundits are often blowhards, mere hacks, and you might well want to take what they say with a pinch of salt.

I think our election process is way too drawn out. People start running 2-3 yrs before the election these days. It’s crazy.
I mentioned in another thread that the depths of racism in America run very, very deep and Trump’s rantings (unchallenged as they have been by the MSM) have “given permission” for those feelings to bubble to the surface.
Anyone who thinks his big mouth dooms him in the general are in deep denial.
Millions of people will publicly condemn Trump for his racism, but then, once in the privacy of the voting booth, they WILL vote for him.
The “Traditional” Republicans, who transplanted themselves from the Dixiecrats to the Republican Party in 1965 now see themselves freed from the constraints of “decorum” and will become, once again, nakedly racist.
Unfortunately, it will find happy acceptance in many, many places in White America, who are scared, confused, and beaten down economically after 30 years of Reaganomics and looking for a convenient scapegoat to blame.
This election is nothing less than a fight for the soul of America, and these syncophants and fools in the MSM will fan the flames as hard as they can to drive RATINGS.
“If it bleeds it leads” is their mantra and they see a chance to spark a ratings bonanza with racial animus not seen since the 1960’s.
Carlson and Ingraham are crass enablers of this sickness in America.

Or that thanks to Trump we now all can see very clearly the REAL position of so called “conservatives” that pretended for years they are not vile, racist, misogynistic, narrow minded morons.
I do thank Trump for lifting the veil and shows the real cesspool of the republican party that they have been hiding rather well for years.
