That sound you hear is the clattering pile of metal, glass and buffoonery that is now the GOP.
Anyone taking them remotely seriously needs his or her head examined.
But we sane ones need to remain vigiliant. These nutcases cannot be allowed in any position of authority at any level of government. Their imbalance makes them ineligible to run any form of government and we must do all possible to prevent them getting any more power than they already have.

Good news for Democrats in Texas. Turnout extremely heavy in Austin. Heavy traffic is causing the County Clerk website to crash. Lines at polling stations even before the website crash. If the same people turn out in November (as well as Democrats in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston) Texas could easily go blue.

When the history of this election cycle is written, the impact of right-wing commentators like these two fuckwits, as well as the whole talk radio and Fox News apparatus, needs to be addressed. They have driven the GOP so far to the right with their incendiary language, their unrelenting opposition and outright hatred to President Obama, it’s astounding. Of course, the corollary to that is the Republican politicians who allowed themselves to be controlled like puppets by these people.
Commentators often say Fox News is the propaganda arm of the Republican party and follows its direction. I think it’s the other way around: Fox News controls the GOP.
