The only thing to conclude–they hate Bushes in NH. Which is on par with the rest of America. Still, feel free to dump a few hundred million into ad campaigns. After all, you may lift your popularity by a few tenths of a percent…or not.

I’d be willing to bet dollars to donuts that by the end of January 2016, the money will slow down to a trickle if not stop altogether. If the billionaires don’t see some kind of return on their “investment”, they won’t hesitate to go elsewhere.
Honestly, at this point, I don’t JEB gives a damn. He’s in it to cop some extra millions then walk off into the sunset. His heart isn’t in this at all.

Its even worse because like so many republicans, his campaign…errr, his superPAC, sorry, only knows how to use money for ad buys. And if those don’t work, they got nothing.

JEB’s campaign is starting to feel the pinch of lower donations and is taking steps to cut expenses.
@brooklyndweller you won’t have to wait that long. We should get the numbers tomorrow, early next week, but 3rd quarter was apparently abysmal for JEB’s fund raising efforts.

You get no disagreement from me on this. However, if his money dries up by the end of 2015 (let’s be generous and say November), that’s also the time when the House GOP will still be cannibalizing itself and the debt ceiling is in real jeopardy of not being dealt with. They won’t have an establishment candidate going into the general. Truly, the Republicans are no longer a political party.

I guess he’s taking downsizing seriously. His personal chauffeur certainly gets points for cultivating the “day laborer” chic look. Tats, check. Baggy shorts, check. Scruffy facial hair, check. Faded gray t-shirt, check. Bush probably tells him to find the Porta-John closest to the hotel to do his business. Interning are hard.

They moved the time table for the debt limit up today. Its the first week of November now (I think 11/4).
JEB isn’t the only Establishment candidate, he isn’t really even their only hope. I keep hearing more and more that people are moving into Rubio’s camp. Rubio has tons of baggage himself (most notably have fast and easy he is with expense accounts), the MSM just hasn’t really turned their attention that way yet, but for now, he seems to be the guy they want.

I think Fiorina did also? I seem to recall her pulling in about $6 million.
Bush’s numbers are the ones a lot of people are waiting on, and the fact that he is trying to delay them and is instead pushing out press releases about internal austerity steps, is probably a really good indication of just how bad they are.

While I see what you’re saying, I don’t really consider Rubio to be “establishment.” Yes, I know, comparatively speaking, he’s not frothing at the mouth. He’s not looking to send this country into 1000 years of darkness like Rump or Uncle Ben. But I think he’d be open to the idea of setting this country back to the turn of the 20th C just to try and placate his party’s billionaires and lunatics.
