Discussion: Bush On Country Under Trump: I Don't Like The 'Racism' And 'Name-Calling'

“On the other hand, we’ve been through these periods before and we’ve always had a way to come out of it.” (GWBush)

Well, yes, we went through similar situations when you were in the White House … then we came out of it by electing a competent leader.

Whether he says it or not Bush and everyone else knows this is a mess they can’t fix now that Trump’s coronated.

Bush knows something fundamental that the entire DC establishment from Texas to Minnesota and Coconut Grove to Venice Beach knows just as well, something the general public has yet to fully comprehend or even beleve is possible, even though it is dancing a jig on the graves of our dead patriots, before our very eyes

TRUMP’S SCANDAL IS IMMINENTLY WORSE THAN WATERGATE!!

There were no Russians in Watergate!

How can that profound difference be ignored?

The Intelligence Committee is made up of patriots and traitors.

By the end of this day, we wil know who is which.

Anyone on the committee who votes to protect Trump’s treason will join a rogue’s list tattooed on American history.

I swear I will do everything I can to remove them from office, and everyone should make the same commitment. to seek permanent revenge at the ballot box.

I am not alone in this passion, and it is not new to our nation and our creed as a People united, the righteous anger that kindles in my democratric heart whenever we hear them covering up Trump’s traitors must surely be the way our patriot predecessors felt when King George used them like draft animals

The public retribution for the damage those liars and cheats impose upon us will be like nothing we’ve seen since the Viet Nam era, it will eclipse even that.

… don’t hope for the best here, the Republlicans are proving to the rest of us American citizens that WE are not their national fellows, we are just something to use-up and cast off for the benefit of their chosen, global circle of prosperity and power.

We’re just their economic mules. Allowing us a voice in our own governance is the big mistake they are now desperate to reverse.

Yeah, but, Pres.Obama has to keep the decorum, as the immediate predecessor.

It is up to GWB to critizise the current line in the WH, so I am thankful he speaks up.

No one ever called me a Shrub fan, but if you think he’s comparable to Trump, I don’t think you realize the severity of the current situation.

that too, a lot of the people, who need to wake up, will be more inclined to listen to GWB than to President Obama.

This guy is one of biggest failures of our lifetime. Now media and establishment wants to make him voice of reason. This alone is fucking shocking. Also worth noticing is that the successful leaders like Bill Clinton, Obama etc have not been given the platform. Media gravitates towards Cheney, Bush, McCain etc, all known and proven failures.

everything is relative, Compared to Donald, GWB was sane and intelligent (and he had intelligent and evil advisors).

Umm not to make too fine a point of it, but there is no comparison between Trump and W.

The right wing DID practice-up for Trump with W, though, the worst damage ever done by wingnut media had to be in Bush years, and they have come to full fruition as trump’s surrogates/puppetmasters, they may not be equally evil, but the same creeps (DeMint is the real devil) who use them both to impose a fascist government on a democratic people all belong on that rougue’s list.

As bad a baby Bush was and his wars and tax cuts for the already way too rich…I’ll take him of Pence, Bannon, Manafort, Flynn, and lying Donnie Trump any day.

The worst thing of all…Trump is an illegitimate President. Impeach the whole administration and hold a re-vote. Save America from lying Trump and his push for Fascism.

Agreed. But so far, Trump is far better. He is just a loud mouth ass but hasnt yet done anything that comes close to any of the Bush Disasters.

They DO share a profound stupidity that allowed them to be played like pawns in games where they imagined themselves Kings… from there up, nothing else really matters does it?

That same stupidity permeates the general public.

“They know not what they do.”

Ignorance of the Truth is no excuse.

The only real difference is with Bush, there were no Russians involved in his swiping the presidency and starting a war with a man who his family held a major grudge. Bush himself didn’t spout racist crap, but he surrounded himself with people who used racism and homophobia to get what he/they wanted. Bush/Cheney murdered hundreds of thousands. They are the ones that started the anti-Islamist movement. The way in which they politicized 9/11 to get what they wanted, start wars, drain the treasury, transfer vast amounts of wealth to hem and their buddies. Yes, that (and more) is comparable to Trump.

A well done steak…with ketchup.

Ketchup.

At any steak house in the State that I live it, that would be grounds for immediate expulsion and banning for life.

From the State.
