JFC! What do you think would happen to a Chinese Government official that was caught insulting the American president with a member of his political opposition? We’re talking about China. Can you imagine what would go down if this actually happened, hit the American press and was read by the Chairman at morning coffee? The idiot that did it would be in a Beijing skyscraper foundation the next day.

Remember how the Chinese leadership dealt with Jeb’s big brother during the Hainan incident? They told him to fuck off and did as they pleased. What do you think their impressions of baby Bush are?

My impression is slightly different – I think he thought it was his without trying hard to earn it, so he didn’t mean to try hard when he got in (why should he if it is his).

And he’s immensely unhappy now because it turns out it isn’t his as he blithely assumed and he doesn’t know how to claim what he thinks is his (hence cannot make up his mind, as Jin said).
