Jebby splatted that toothpaste all over the place. No way it’s going back in the tube.

We all mishear things from time to time, but to do so when running for President and responding to a question regarding a certain brother’s epic failure known as the Iraq War?

Um.

No.

And how many days/polls/phone calls did it take for him to realize that he had misheard the question?

OK…but how was his answer a good one for ANY question? He said he would have invaded Iraq like his brother yet just about everyone GOP’ers included agree that was a huge mistake.

Someone should tell Jeb to review his brothers current standing with the American people and consider whether saying you will be like him a good idea.

I’m not sure why anyone should care that he misheard anything. If there’s any question he should have prepared for a hundred times, it’s this one, he blew it – and he didn’t even realize he blew it until the next day. Means he’s more focused on defending his brother’s actions than he is in learning from them.

“the potential presidential candidate told her he’d misheard a question about the Iraq War.”

Then you don’t answer or you ask for it to be repeated, fucknuts. Now, choose which stupid we want to label you with…giving bad answers or answering questions you didn’t hear correctly. Frankly, I think it’s both, and all this excuse-making session did was pile stupid on top of stupid, like some sort of stupid Bush sammich.

Because here’s the thing: On what planet is “I would invade Iraq all over again even if I knew what we know now” a good answer to ANY question? Find me that fucking question. Go on…find it…

Seriously when I heard his answer to the question, my first thought was he misheard the question. Megan didn’t give him any help. I don’t think Fox wants him to be the candidate.

Yup…but you have to ask: how could the question have been asked that would make his answer OK? What question has “yes I would have invaded Iraq” as a good answer?

Bring a huge push brush, ginormous pile of Texas manure.

Come now, surely you understand that he doesn’t know if he heard the question right or not until he sees the polling for it the next day. PDHLS (Polling Delayed Hearing Loss Syndrome) is a serious issue in the world, dozens suffer from it.

Haha, damn, beat me to it…I was just editing to add that thought to my post lol

Meh, it doesn’t sound like she’s directly connected to the campaign. Until the campaign “clarifies” his answer, I’ll stick with “yes, Bush really is that stupid.”

As predicted.

Next prediction: He’s not going to clarifyon his own initiative; he’ll go with the “I’m Hispanic” precedent: Never apologize no matter what family with a member in a vegetative state is being horribly and unjustly tortured by my politically motivated meddling and besides s’all good messaging for the demo I’m after.

Of course, it’s always possible that some friendly young thing will gently place on a tee and surround with vestal virgins and confirmation cake a diamond-edge platinum embossed invitation to “clarify” - in which case America will be treated to an example of American frontier gibberish so disingenuously incomprehensible as apology that Mel Brooks will moved to seek legal advice.

Plus, his aides told him it was “Opposite Day.”
