Discussion: Burr Tell GOP Don Jr Left Senate Intel No Choice But To Subpoena After His No-Shows

This book is unfortunately long out of print and the cheapest copy you can find on Amazon is a used paperback for $25.00. Brooklyn and New York public libraries only have copies for use in the library. Online version not available. Seems like they should publish a reissue.

How sad that a grown man with an apparently graying beard needs a note from his daddy to skip going to the principles office. I’m sure one day he’ll grow up to be a man of his own.

Where is mittens?

Which is the state of things despite his refusal to put his imprimatur on it.

So not doing we continue to muddle through in uncharted territory of having a Russian assert POTUS and all his enablers in Congress continue to assault the country.

Pretty roiled right now and been that way for 2+ years.

Graham should be disbarred.

He took an oath to upload the law. Now he’s telling people to ignore it.

Graham should not be leading any committees.

“The subpoena sparked uproar amongst Burr’s closest colleagues, including one top Republican on the committee — Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).” Cornyn’s on the Committee so surely he didn’t need any private briefing from Burr to know Don Don had blown off several voluntary appearances. And still he objected to a subpoena? Graham is low, but Cornyn’s even lower – if that’s possible.

The other option is that Mueller is the lipstick on the pig that he always was meant to be and/or Mueller was selected because Rosenstein had talked through Mueller’s thinking in advance and knew what his conclusion would be. During the investigation, the GOP & DOJ mantra to Trump expressing an interest to fire Mueller was to “trust the process”. How did they know that unless the outcome was essentially predetermined? Mueller’s report was the best-timed, favorable, legitimate-looking outcome of an array of otherwise crap – pushing all potential accountability for Donald Trump onto a divided Congress for the remaining 1.5 years of this term, and no other person in Trump’s family held accountable with the potential harm him.

(I’m just making sure you know I am lampooning the leftyish tv punditry who are currently using this argument).

So is Burr the only clean GOPer left standing?

By the way, there’s a typo in the headline. Please, somebody fix it before I go out of my mind.

Sure, if you can consider a pig that wallows in shit, clean (he was leaking info to drumpf’s team).

With Burr heading the committee, I suspect this as well. Burr is in no hurry to expose any of the trump crimes, but he’s clever and smarmy enough to pretend he’s being all fair and bipartisan.

Assuming Jr ever testifies, I fully expect the hearing to be tightly controlled and supremely protective of the spawn, after which the Republicans can double down on the “no collusion” chant. Lindsey Graham can flick his forked tongue and we will gain nothing.

ETA: the comeuppance for Jr will be when the states prosecute him for financial crimes.

Well, last month she joined the Trump 2020 campaign as a senior adviser, so she knows exactly what kind of grift she’s signed onto.

He might be a stalking horse - if he’s not chopped up into small pieces and fed to the hogs, others might follow his lead…
