Discussion: Bundy Ranch Still Trying To Turn BLM Standoff Into A National Movement

Discussion for article #222587

I do wish he’d educate us on “The Jew” also.

Krauthammer might be interested.

I feel a little dirty “liking” this, but yeah.

They’re trying to gin up a Bundy-style protest, presumably armed, of the BLM closing a park to ATVs? Seriously. They’re ok with getting shot by federal agents over their god-given rights to tear up and pollute a park or nature preserve? Fuching yahoos.

“All of the problems of this world, other countries, and their domestic and their religious and their government problems and their battles between each other and all of that, can be really solved by following our Constitution”

Would that be the Constitution that says this?

“The Congress shall have power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.”

I don’t see that in the 2nd Amendment, nor in the 10th. So, no.

Looks like the Bundy family’s 15 minutes are about up, and he’s getting nervous about what comes next.

Good.

This story is a needed reminder that Republicans were eager to cravenly exploit a moocher trying to start an armed rebellion, just for political gain. But cravenly exploit a racist moocher’s armed rebellion just for political gain? What kind of disgusting politicians would do something like that?

They want to turn the ranch into a commune for Las Vegas’ homeless veterans?!? Communists!!

Seriously, though, who are these people who can afford to hang out at a ranch for days on end? Do they not have jobs or families to tend to? Are they on some type of state/federal assistance? Surely not, right? I wish someone in the media would do an investigative piece to answer these questions.

I get the impression that Bundy knows this will go south. And, by the way, it WON’T be national in scope. When it goes down, and it will eventually, it’ll be local and they won’t get anywhere near the amount of national support they think they will.

It won’t be long before the presence of all those squatters with their resource needs like food, water and garbage collection begin to take their toll on the ranch. In the long run Bundy will see the detriment of having turned his ranch/farm into a militia haven. He is just another old cowboy whose time is gone and reality will visit soon, hope his immediate family isn’t in the way when the bullets start flying.

“Bundy’s star has since faded after he made his views on ‘the Negro’ known.”

Quite the contrary. To true believers, these views on “the Negro” only enhance his standing.

Villagers may “tsk, tsk, tsk” Mr. Bundy’s indiscretion, but the GOP base laps it up.

I was born in 1962 and, in the 60’s, a bunch of DFH’s took on the task of creating communal spaces for people to empower themselves by living off the land. Despite the best of intentions, in many cases, it just didn’t work out whether due to lack of specific knowledge on farming to general infighting. The communes collapsed and the land ended up empty. I see no difference here.

Those are very interesting questions. Is Bundy financing them? Is he feeding them, giving them shelter of some kind? How are they able to afford this?

I understand the passion behind your comment, but I don’t think I’d go so far as that. Put 'em on trial, I say. Then throw 'em in the pokey. For a very long time. Also, too, take away their guns/toys forever.

I think they’re part of the 47 percent - you know, The Moochers and Takers - who voted for Rmoney.

Rmoney was actually a lot more accurate with his “47 percent” comment than he realized. Of course, his teeny-tiny error was that it was his OWN supporters that do most of the mooching, not the other way around.

"I’m still here! I’m still relevant! See me, feel me, touch me, heal me . . . I’m still the story! "

Bundy’s been bitten by the celebrity bug. He loves holding court! But now he’s watching his 15 minutes fade to nihility, and he doesn’t know where to turn.

I recommend this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-ffYA2KHFY

Actually, I think it would be more fun to drop the hint (to some of the loonier ones there) that the Black Helicopters are now equipped with Super-Stealth technology, which renders them invisible to the unaided eye. Then find a way to project rotor sounds toward the imbeciles. Much hilarity ensues, no doubt.
