FEMA official Response to 3000 Deaths :

Direct, indirect. What’s the difference? Dead is dead.
This guy just wants to keep his " heck of a job Brownie" job. He swore loyalty to Trump and he is sticking to it.
LOL…
Mr. Long apparently has no interest in honesty and a strong interest in corruption (“he’s currently under investigation for his excessive use of government cars and drivers”). In other words, he’s the embodiment of the Trump administration.
How did FEMA end up as a dumping ground for incompetents?
Yes, he does. He should be painfully aware of that and the media should be all over him.
What the Brock?
“There’s a lot of issues with numbers being all over the place,” Long added on Fox News Sunday. “It’s hard to tell what’s accurate and what’s not.”
I suggest that you simply ignore any numbers provided by Chiselin’ Trump and the White House.
The one thing mediocrities strive to do well is stroke their higher-ups just right. It’s their signature skill. But in organizations where mediocrity is the accepted norm, it’s usually enough.
I am once again reminded of the scene from the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas where Charles Durning, as the Governor of Texas. sings, “Dance A Little Sidestep”.
It never gets old, so for your listening and viewing pleasure,
"Ooh I love to dance a little sidestep, now they see me now they don’t
I’ve come and gone and, ooh I love to sweep around the wide step
Cut a little swathe and lead the people on."
I had the unique opportunity to be at the Texas Capital late the night (11p - 4:30a) the interior scenes were shot. Watch Durning dance and perfect the ‘snap hat.’
This whole thing is really alarming: Bush’s presidency effectively ended (except for the deregulation of course) after his non-response to Katrina. But now, if you’re a Republican, everything - including natural disasters - is partisan - if it’s not perceived to help you, it doesn’t count or apparently matter and there are no consequences. If a bomb fell on California, meh - it was just Democrats.
What’s so galling is that once the Democrats are back in power, trying desperately to fix everything, they’ll start screeching all over again. And then watch out for the Tea Party comeback.
Puerto Ricans: “Thank you Brock – it is our horror!”
Speaking of drunks… Very interesting
In his opening statement at his confirmation hearing this month, Kavanaugh referenced his time at the Catholic institution with great reverence: “The motto of my Jesuit high school was ‘Men for others.’ I’ve tried to live that creed.”
But the school Judge has described in his books is a very different sort of place. In his 2005 book, God and Man at Georgetown Prep, which is now out of print, Judge apparently paints the school as overrun with gay priests who promote a form of liberalism that wrecks Catholic education. He also describes an institution where alcoholism was rampant, a theme he detailed in his 1997 addiction memoir, Wasted: Tales of a Gen X Drunk.
That book chronicles Judge’s time as a teenage alcoholic. Like many works of the genre, it devotes a lot of ink to the kinds of debauchery that leads to AA and recovery. While there’s nothing in the book that resembles the incident reportedly described in the private letter given to the FBI, Judge says his own black-out drinking while he and Kavanaugh were Georgetown Prep students “reached the point where once I had the first beer, I found it impossible to stop until I was completely annihilated.”
Well, did Long also sign an NDA with Trump?
If he did, then he can’t contradict him without self-damaging.
Long is under investigation for misuse of government vehicles to travel home and back to DC. He’s going to do whatever it takes to try to save his ass.
I’m starting to see a trend here.
Lying, greedy, ignorant, malfeasant, racist slugs: Trump Republican.
Everybody else: Democrat
