Discussion for article #231954
Clearly he isn’t all that familiar with Fox News fare. We’d never get through breakfast if we choked on our porridge every time a complete idiot appeared on Fox.
What’s needed is the American President to echo PM"s sentiment! Complete Idiots, rinse, repeat!
I’ve only seen a few episodes of the BBCs “Have I got news for you,” But when they get their teeth into the US GOP stars or Fox news nutjobs, they are hilarious.
They have Sky News. Fox’s parent.
Now, that’s the kind of language I want to hear from Obama…Chait’s article in NY-Magazine claims the president’s tempered style will win out in the long run, however the pile-on habits of his enemies has left some scars over the years. The unwashed, clown-car over at fox needs a punch in the face every now and then, and Cameron (a tory conservative) isn’t pulling back!
“When I heard this, frankly, I choked on my porridge and I thought it must be April Fool’s Day,” Cameron said, “this guy is clearly a complete idiot.”
Hence, the perfect Faux Nooz “expert.”
It just highlights how right wing the Fox News brigade really is, that a Tory Conservative Prime Minister thinks that they’re deranged. Especially seeing as how much they like to go on about how “uber-liberal” the President is, and his policies are actually more in line with a European conservative.
Haha…he said porridge…it’s like he was trying to give the Teatroll rednecks who watch Faux News a reason to call him a pussy and then mock him with a sarcastic effeminate dance that’s supposed to be a parody of how supposedly limpwristed all Euros are.
Porridge.
Sigh.
You beat me to it, PM Cameron, you have no idea. We welcome your feedback, take a look at Fox and Friends, refrain from eating or drinking while doing so though.
Holy Shit. I thought Sen. Franken had the new slogan for Fox Not the News
“Wholly Without Merit.”
Then up comes Cameron with the best slogan EVER for Fox:
“This guy is clearly a complete idiot.”
Fox News at its finest.
Despite his comments, British PMs biggest benefactor is Rupert Murdoch - who had similar inhibitions about Muslims after the Paris Massacre. Isn’t Cameron calling himself an Idiot for calling out another idiot in Faux Noose?
Let that be a lesson to you. Stick with curds and whey.
They also don’t have Freedom of the Press and they do have fairly aggressive slander and libel lawsuits so it wouldn’t shock me at all if PM Cameron hasn’t really encountered stupidity on the level of Fox News, outside of Fox News that is.
USA #1!
Tony bLiar received much more support from Murdoch.
Sky News does not equal Fox. A rabid, partisan and frankly unhinged TV news channel would die on the vine here (and broadcasters are regulated to provide truly balanced news and equal weight when editorialising).
I’m sure Murdoch would love to replicate Fox here, though there simply isn’t the same scale of loony right wing constituencies.
Newspapers are different, of course, though receding in relevance every day.
What Fox says regularly makes my blood boil (despite living in the US for 2 months a year - on my way tomorrow, yay! - I don’t actually watch it, just see what’s reported), but I don’t really get why it is that important if the majority of its viewers are choir members?
It would be more than nice if it didn’t exist though.
David Cameron:
"When I heard this, frankly, I choked on my porridge …
The only way to improve that sentence would be if it were bangers and mash or mushy peas that Cameron choked on. Or cock, but that would be immature.
Well of course a typical leftie socialist Brit politician is going to say that and…wait…what…
Fox News was denied a license for a TV channel in Canada due to their lying, dishonest reporting. I suspect that in the UK also that it’s more difficult to lie on a TV channel.
