Discussion: Breaking: Federal Judge Rules Against Obamacare Subsidies

Republicans wanting to take health care away from people. What else is new?

A lot of Democrats ought to be getting unexpected contributions or the shareholders of the insurance companies may want to know why they weren’t. Interesting what a person can get up to.

Too bad judges don’t rule based on the law anymore rather than their party affiliation.

This judge was reprimanded back in 2011 for placing his unqualified friends in positions, and then having them paid through the courts. He got off lightly. http://www.newson6.com/story/14967691/federal-judge-reprimanded-for-scheme-to-get-friends-paid-through-courts

The disastrous legacy of GWB continues to reveal itself, immoral war and a political judiciary.

Agreed. I mean we had the worst recession since the great depression 6 years ago, and the oligarchs and their minions managed to successfully muddy the waters enough that few structural changes were successful. Similarly, the republican party after bush was a frigging smoking hole in the ground, and they STILL managed to claw their way back into power. There is just no underestimating what republican skunks are capable of doing when their survival is on the line…

How many dead Americans will result from this Republican attack on our country’s health care system?

And why don’t these Republicans care about their fellow Americans?

someone mentioned that republicans have to run on the threat of removing people health care… what you dont realize is most of those people dont vote… many of them would vote republican no matter the negative consequences because now voting for a democrat is a vote for blacks, gays, muslims, socialist, communist, illegals aliens, against the bible, against god, against america etc etc etc. so republicans will continue to win local elections because the locals dont vote.

An OKIE gop bag judge …who would have thunk?

That’s funny Les but you can’t throw out the quarters you don’t like … you know …'cause Obama.

Let’s just take 2014 4.06%

1st qtr 2014 - **-**2.9%
2nd qtr 2014 - 4.6%

Jun 30, 2014 4.06%?

If they haven’t woken up by now, they’re not paying attention or they’re brain damaged or they’re dead or they were born stupid and love it. They’re not going to wake up and the Democrats aren’t doing much to wake them up.

The fellow who runs SCOTUSBlog said this was going to be the real challenge to ACA, the one that actually might have traction.

You should let loose Darc.

Our federal judiciary barely makes the pretense of being non-partisan. Look at how the Supremes validated the Ohio crackdown on early voting, with a three line order and a 5-4 vote.

I didn’t “throw out” anything. I cited my sources.

Sorry if you are fact challenged.

Judicial vandalism.

very good point Candace, but in this case 8 million+ people are enrolled in the ACA and Im sure that a very big percentage of those enrollee’s are republican voters. Today Big government is on their side in a big way. You only have one life and with out health care your screwed and thats somthing that even a broke republican voter can see.

Your “original” use of capital letters makes it difficult to read your comments. Fortunately, this is okay because they consist of nonsensical ad hominem attacks on President Obama and Democrats which are not worth reading.

Yep -- The GOP is in a real big case of "Screwed if they don't..... But really screwed if they do" -- They should be very VERY careful in what they wish for..... They just might get it ! ! -- I must admit that,as of late, there has been a very small sliver emerge that is rooting for these wingnut factions to succeed -- I mean, just imagine -- Being able to actually witness first hand, within my own lifetime, the Republican Party imploding in upon itself -- It's almost too delicious to contemplate -- Ooooooo

Gee, an Okie judge hates the Muslim Health Law. I. Am. Shocked.

Too bad for the elderly, disabled and working poor in Oklahoma. The judge deserves castration for doing this.
