Unfortunately it doesn’t look good for her in 2016. But the upside is we have Gavin Newsom waiting in the wings and there is no better progressive in California - young, handsome and smart. And Kamala Harris positioned to be our next Governor. And may I add, I share your sentiments about DiFI.

David Remnick has a New Yorker (9/15) op-ed blasting Obama for seeming world-weary and inarticulate about his foreign policy. As far as he’s concerned Obama is all stumbles, stutters and gee, Hillary’s comment on “Don’t do stupid stuff” not being enough gets a glowing review.

At the very end, Remnick notes that, well, of course the negotiations with Iran seem to be bearing fruit, Ukraine is in truce mode etc. His tone is very, very grudging.

But I suppose those things – because they’re not couched in bombastic phrases like “I’m the greatest!!” earns Obama almost nothing in press admiration.

It’s also heresy that we’re fighting in the Middle East and NOT sending an occupying force with which we can play Whack-a-Mole on Iran after dispensing with ISIS, blowing out Assad, and re-establishing a puppet government in Iraq – oh, and assuring the oil companies that they can drain Iraq dry.

Corker was on with Chris Matthews yesterday and he seemed to be imitating Tweety in style and substance today.

This build up of the Free Syrian Army is going to be a CIA operation all the way, so hopefully they’ve learned some lessons and take serious steps to mitigate unintended consequences.

Unfortunately,
70% of the population in this state never heard of any of them.
Politics is a closeted situation here and getting a squeak out of any of them is like picking up roadkill and trying to figure how long ago it was killed or if it is for breakfast or dinner. But only after a few shots to the head just to make sure it’s dead.
