Can the Fed’s then cut all Medicaid, and maybe Medicare, for all Louisiana residents until Piyush is in compliance with all Federal Medicare rules?

He’s not the only governor of a red state making the lives of its poorest residents more miserable in a futile effort to be President, but he’s one of the most despicable. And now, for added fun, we have major policy decisions based on bogus misleadingly edited videos. O’Keefeian democracy, let’s call it, where power accrues to the most shameless and outrageous liars.

You say that as if this were a recent development.

No matter what Piyush does, he cant take attention away from The Trump.

Can he single-handedly do that and legally get away with that? Someone from PP or Medicaid, or someone at the Federal level ought to sue that fucker for denial of women’s (and some male) health services (which is more than 90% of what they do there) to the poor. Plus its a constitutional right for women to seek an abortion, and he has no right to interfere with that law, which by denying Medicaid would do just that. That’s flat-out discrimination.

I’m sick of these Dominionist wacko-birds. Wonder if those bullshit Christian Pregnancy Centers get Medicaid monies. Suing Jindal may take more of the state’s taxpayer money out of the pockets from LA citizens but, oh well…they elected this dirtbag.

I suppose he can do that if he’s supplying the funding. Not so sure he can do that if he isn’t.

That said, how stupid must this person be if he’s cutting funding because of something the two agencies in his State don’t even provide? If there’s no AB in those two clinics, why would he penalize them for tissue programs they can’t participate in?

I don’t think guy should be running a Moose hall, let alone the Federal government.

He has screwed up everything else in his state, so why not this too? I feel sorry for the poor people in that state, but not the jerks who keep electing these cretins.

Sadly, they are most likely one and the same.

Li’l Piyush just crapped in his own mess kit.

Federal regulations prohibit his action, since PP is an approved provider for
Medicare, and no federally approved provider may be denied Medicare funding unless HHS rescinds PP’s status as an approved provider.

But, of course, we all know that Republicans ignore any law, rule, or regulation that gets in the way of their sense of victimhood or their current poutrage.

This piece of garbage presides over a State with one of the worst infant mortality rates in the country. This action will only make that rate worse. The blood of those innocent children will be on his hands.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal ® announced he had ended the state’s Medicaid contract with Planned Parenthood in response to an anti-abortion “sting” video campaign against the reproductive health service.

Thereby almost certainly ensuring a measurable rise in the LA per capita unwanted pregnancy and abortion rate ,as well as associated injuries and deaths to women who avail themselves of “black-market” abortions.

Piyush The Coward.

Politico has an article on this (http://www.politico.com/story/2015/08/defund-planned-parenthood-not-so-easy-120924.html) and concludes that it will not be easy because the move violates Medicaid requirements for offering a choice of family planning providers. That does not mean that Jindal will not try. He has already demonstrated little regard for the rule of law or the cost of his grandstanding on the state budget when Louisiana tries to defend his nonsense in court.
