Please win.

Maybe if she would stop being so cautious, she might actually have a chance to win.

Or maybe if “progressives” would quit second guessing her every move and actually support her, she’d win. It’s always been the professional left and far left snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, which allows Republicans to win.

BAM. This is good timing. Big Dog needs to go back. KY folks: who else can rep national Dems in KY w/out agitating the wingnut racists anti-BHO base?

Would that it was that simple. What neither the Kossites demanding a fire and brimstone Trumanesque campaign of hell-giving in every state nor the Beltway Campaign Consulatantocracy recommending the content-free eggshell walk in every race seem to get is that every race is difference. Some would do better to do it one way, some the other and whichever one is right always seems to be the one the Democrat in the race doesn’t do. Makes one wonder if the real problem is that the message testing pollsters aren’t up to the job.

Good news, but it’s still only a single poll. Hopefully, it is part of a trend.

Just have to believe there are more Dems than Republicans and that they will get out and vote. Also have to believe people realize Mitch and his just say No to all things Obama from day 1 has held the entire country back.

Maybe if you lived in the state of Kentucky for as long as Grimes has, you’d understand that Elizabeth Warren style populace Liberal messaging does not work.

You’re new here aren’t you?

Exactly.

I’m not in KY, but I’m in Colorado, in a deep red district represented by that dipshit Lamborn who wants all the generals who disagree with Obama to resign. The Democrat running against him, Irv Halter, isn’t a full-on progressive, but he’s leagues better than Lamborn in that he is level headed and has common sense. It just irks me how little a lot of the far left/professional left understand when it comes to supporting ALL Democrats, even the more conservative ones.

Not new. Just the 2,398th incarnation of EG/Beej. He can’t accept the fact that he isn’t wanted here.

There are more Democrats than Republicans in KY, but the Democrats are mostly blue dog types. They’re OK with state-level Democrats but absolutely loathe the national variety. And while they’re certainly not fans of Mitch McConnell, they hate the idea of supporting a Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate even more.

When Rethugs have a single poll showing one of their boneheads in the lead, they tout it for a week and the mainstream media assholes oblige them by doing the same. That’s how they manage to get momentum out of one singular poll. Perception trumps everything…lending to more momentum. Dems need to do the same and insist the media cover it in equal measure imo.

Has anything changed in the last few weeks to account for this poll? Otherwise, McConnell’s flack is probably right and this is an outlier

I’d say that the McConnell camp may be freaking out a bit, because Jimmy O Keefe is up to his old tricks and games again, attempting to play gotcha with some ALG staffers.

Yes, but I think they come to the polls and vote Dem in the end.
Biggest problem for Dems is GOTV.

If Democrats were like GOPers, they would be busy at GOP websites praising the virtues of the Libertarian candidate and casting aspersions on Yertle’s weak-kneed conservatism.
