Every time I read that someone spoke directly to Trump and came away with a favorable impression I always think that person has not got a clue about narcissistic behavior. He will do everything to make you like him, but the minute you express dislike or disagreement he will come after you with everything he has. He can be charming, but it is all a calculated charade - everyone in his world is a 2 dimensional figure, he knows no more about empathy than a person blind from birth knows about colors. He is severely flawed and normal people cannot imagine his thought process any more than he can imagine the thought process of normal people. He has no real friends in the world, just people who agree with him and admire him. His ego is a black hole and we are all on the event horizon.
I take “we’re losing” to mean Trump is seeing some of his supporters becoming alarmed at his transition team excesses the past month – because those now former supporters decided to seek other means of information-gathering than watching Fox News and accepting everything Trump says as truth.
So, Trump wants to cut off their access to fact-checking and finding reliable news based on investigative reporting. Also, cut off freedom to states one’s own opinion by bloggers via the Internet, thus stifling free speech.

Unfortunately, to reach that conclusion you have to ignore everything Trump has said and every nominee he has put forward.
I know, what exactly does it mean to lose people to the Internet? If anyone is lost to the Internet it’s Trump, who loses blocks of whole days to Twitter.
Does Gates understand that kissing the ass of someone with Narcissistic Personality Disorder is the way to curry favor? He probably runs into more of these types where he lives; comparing him to JFK has donald creaming his jeans.
‘Patient x’ wants to stop how folks are getting radicalized, by putting restrictions on the internet (which was likely where that conversation went to).
“We’re losing a lot of people because of the Internet,” Trump said in December of last year. “We have to see Bill Gates and a lot of different people that really understand what’s happening. We have to talk to them about, maybe in certain areas, closing that Internet up in some way.”
Seeing the world through the eyes of big business=no protections for equality, for workers (Gates was the king of contract workers), for protecting our earth, against industrialized food, for public education, no protections for small business.
It takes the power away from the people through governing and puts it in the hands of billionares.

What in hell might we infer from this word salad? Is there a thought behind it and if so what is it?

Translation: Trump is organizing his staff to loot the country in ways that no one ever conceived, and there isn’t anyone who can stop him. Let’s get on the gravy train and f*ck the rest of you.
Au contraire. He has the best empathy, the yuuuugest empathy. His empathy is the greatest in the world, people say. They keep telling him that. His empathy is off the charts. Not like those reporters. Losers. Sad.
