So the result that was expected and projected is “still a setback” for Clinton?

No, not a setback. Clinton remains ahead in the overall delegate count due to support from superdelegates — the party officials who can support the candidate of their choice. Including superdelegates nationwide, Clinton has amassed at least 392 delegates and Sanders at least 42. The magic number to clinch the nomination is 2,382.

Gotta love the MSM.

However, the breakdown of his supporters is amazing
75 % under 30 - 65% of gun owners - 60+% of independents and I forgot the number of women but it was uuuuuuge.

You see where they are going with this.

Steve Schmidt non-stop-talked over Rachel Maddow about 20 minutes ago, talking about Trump. They are lining this up.

A. Going for Bernie (with crocodile smile really celebrating the GOP)

B. Cleaning up Trump

I was strongly for Bernie until a few days ago. I believe the timing is not right for him in 2016…and that lack of timing is more about the American electorate and Bernie’s political opposition he would face in the General than anything else. This impression of mine has been increasingly based on the things coming out of the Republican Machine SUPPORTING Bernie.

To my knowledge, there has NEVER been an American Presidential election in which the types of people Bernie is asking to come out actually did so in the quantities he needs.

Onto the White House where the Bern will appoint liberal/progressive jurists to the SCOTUS, just like President George McGovern did…
(Nixon won 49 States; McGovern won 1 state and DC)

Don’t forget President Dukakis. He was also very successful.

Ahhh, forget it, Jake - it’s New Hampshire.

Maybe you are right but there is something different going on and i felt the same way about Bernie not being able to win the general but now I am not so sure. The republicans have a total different thing going on based mostly on hate of certain groups. For dems it is the economy and Bernie’s message about the billionaires is something most people can relate to. It is going to be an interesting ride from here on out for certain

And if the FBI recommends an indictment for Hillary, what will the Dems do then?

He was obnoxious but she sure made sure she corrected his attempts to lie about the facts

@Grindewald. I doubt seriously that is going to happen whether Bernie beats her or not.

The media will say anything to keep the fight more exciting. The longer any of this plays out, the more ratings cable news gets. No media outlet wants any of this to end in March, so they’ll say what they can to make it appear more exciting than it is on both sides.

IF that were true (which it’s not) then you better grab onto your ass because there will not be a President Sanders. But there would be a President Trump.

While Mr. Sanders bested her among all age groups younger than 45, the two candidates polled evenly among voters aged 45 to 64. And Mrs. Clinton won the support of voters 65 and older. And, though Mrs. Clinton lost nearly every income group, she did carry voters in families earning over $200,000 per year.

We don’t know the actual results yet. Bernie was going to win, that was never really in doubt. But by how much. And what did it cost him. Those are the two big questions.

We already know he outspent Hillary 3:1 to get tonight’s results. And he, and his campaign in particular, have rubbed a lot of people the wrong way with their antics while pulling down very white states.

Nevada, and South Carolina in particular, are where the race really gets going. The demographics change radically and the pace after those two picks up tremendously. No more year long campaigning.

Well, Rush, I guess many will vote for the Bern and many will vote for Michael Bloomberg, and we’ll get President Rubio and the US will be fully mobilized in the Middle East in a matter of weeks. Oh, and Tony Scalia will end up looking like a socialist compared to Rubio’s appointments to the SCOTUS.

Something different? Winning the youth vote in the general, but failing to show up in the midterms. Sounds about the same to me.

Well, yeah, since the FBI isn’t even investigating her.

Don’t even get low life scum coming here to troll like that the time of day.
