He’s the white choice for many.

And… cue the trigger for the Bernie haters… I’m not going to partake in any discussion, just here to watch the inevitable hating and screaming…

Money will not be Bernie’s problem. (Ironic for a socialist.) But he’ll have other problems.

Democratic-Socialism is playing well somewhere.

Remember how everyone was awed by all the money amassed by President Jeb! Also, that’s chump change for Howard Schultz.

I think the bulk of us are in wait in see mode. We have limited dollars and we like multiple candidates, so we’re keeping our powder dry until the field narrows. This is an impressive one-day haul, but it’s true believers from a cultivated list (not knocking it, that’s what politicians are supposed to do). I suspect if HRC had announced, we’d see similar numbers for similar reasons.

Misogyny perchance?

nice job

Definitely. I’m not ready to contribute to anyone yet.

I think that one of his problems will be a thorough vetting. I don’t think that happened last time around. I think that the vetting process during this primary season will be more comprehensive. It has to be since it’s such a crowded field.

That is quite the haul. I sort of expected Bernie to lose some luster now that the party as a whole has “shifted left”*.

*according to all the very serious people on cable news.

…and I’m not ready to contribute to Bernie ever.

Best take heed. I hope TPM does a much better job of covering Sanders than last election. I dropped out in fury over the nonsense I read on TPM - praising Hillary and bashing Sanders continuously. Best take heed. This is a LOT bigger than folks are expecting.

All the money in the world can’t cleanse the stink or the stain from Bernie or his dead-enders. Fuck off, grandpa.

I’m not sold on her, but I’m keeping my eye on Kamela Harris. She has some impressive early on support and unless she really screws up, she’s going to grab most of California’s delegates as early as March, next year. That gives her a decided advantage.

How’s the view from up on your cross? Better or worse than Bernie’s view from his?
