Discussion: Benghazzzz: House GOP Says Goodbye To Its Never-Ending Clinton Investigations

That woman has seen her vast right-wing conspiracy become very real, up close and personal, and historians of the future will look back on it and shake their heads at how thinly-veiled that conspiracy really was.

Regardless of whether you voted for her or support her, never in history has someone so deserving of respect been so falsely defamed.

So what on Earth will Meadows, Gaetz and Jordan do in the new Congress? Something constructive? Ha!

NOBODY has said anything about Uranium-2 by Individual-1 .

The problem wasn’t “low-energy leadership.” The problem is the brilliant minds of Louie Gohmert and Jim Jordan never turned up anything that wasn’t a made-up conspiracy theory. If they had found anything at all, they would have gone barking to the White House, the SCOTUS, and Fox and Friends.

One can quite easily imagine them all on the witness stand, ducks in a row, testifying about their Republican Congressional Conspiracy to Obstruct the Investigation into the Cover-up of Russian Collusion.

Nunes in particular.

Make them all lie under oath, they will if given the opportunity. Ask them about their Russian connections, too.

And Dems CAN start that investigation, anytime they want, after the gavel changes parties in the House.

INVESTIGATE NUNES! That should be on a bumpersticker and sold all over DC.

Anyone who’s been watching Trump’s entire tenure knows Nunes has profound guilt written into his political DNA.

THAT started my day with a chuckle… Steve King came to mind, too.

Louie Gohmert must be one of the dumbest Americans ever to serve in Congress. Where do the Republicans find these winners?

Exactly the way I feel.

Pot, meet Kettle:

Issa also criticized his successor, ex-Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), for his tenure as Oversight chair.

“There hasn’t be nearly enough oversight over these last two years of Donald Trump,” Issa said. “And that’s to the detriment of everybody”

You can find them down he hall in the broom closet, endlessly drawing poorly rendered portraits of the Clintons with an occasional break to carve “Hillary” into their forearms with screwdrivers or to bang their heads against the wall.

This is just another side of Republican corruption.

Captured here fully:
“The problem is not the investigation, the problem is we have done nothing with what we have found out,” Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), who once brought an intricate flowchart to a hearing pulling together numerous theories about Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, told TPM.

So why did they not? For example, why did Gohmert himself go down to the pizzeria in DC and investigate pedophilia claims himself? Because he knew the consequences of the next step. Unlike the addled person that eventually did go.

Correct this if wrong, as it is only what I have seen posted, but by the numbers:

Since 1965
Democrats; 25 years in power
3 indictments
1 conviction
1 prison sentence

Republicans; 28 years in power
120 indictments
89 convictions
34 prison sentences
and counting

The GOP knows it is corrupt party and it is trying to obfuscate that issue.

Tick tock.

All these guys have theories on why they were unable to get the goods on the Clintons, and not one of them seems willing to consider the possibility that they were searching for a grail that didn’t exist. Maybe, just maybe, there was no child trafficking ring in the non-existent basement of a pizzeria. Maybe, just maybe, the pizzeria trafficked in…pizza. Maybe, just maybe, the uranium sale went according to the process that was designed to prevent corruption. Maybe, just maybe, they could have paid attention to the corruption in their midst.
And off topic, but a nauseating way to start my day: the banner advertising at the top of this story was for Blaze TV, with the promise of “No censors, no liberal ads.” Besides the chance that the ad will probably not reach their target audience on this site, I also love that they don’t realize that banning “liberal” ads is censorship. I guess they’re totally supported by Trumpy Bear.

Once Donald is out of office and in jail they bring Hillary back up, and probably Bill, don’t you worry.

Every one of those RepubliKKKlan jackasses is sweating wondering if their name is on one of Mueller’s sealed indictments.

Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see Nunes, Gaetz, Jordan, Gohemrt and Steve King indicted, convicted and sent to jail.

LOCK THEM UP!

If these guys had real jobs where they actually had to do something productive …

Yes, I got the Blaze TV ad as well.

Another reason why I junked my cable box!

In east Texas. It is to be remembered that Gohmert won his last election with 72.26% of the vote, defeating his Democratic challenger by more than 100,000 votes.
