So, maybe he DOES represent his constituency… but doesn’t say much about his constituency.

I think this is an apt description of these fuckwads and their crazy conspiracies.

In Tyler,Texas. It is a historic town. Republicans there have a history of ignorance and racism too. I know. Much of my family is from there and I grew up listening to some use the “N-word” regularly. A couple still do. Growing up,I swore I wouldn’t be like them.

Obviously they want to distract from their own deadly scandals. But this goes all the way back to when Hillary first appeared on the scene. I remember the vituperation toward her almost 30 years ago. She’s the perfect emblem of the young women who went to college in the postwar era, the “coeds,” and then started taking jobs in medicine, law, business, all the bastions of male privilege. That’s simple historic fact. They figured there was no sense getting all those degrees and then being teachers and nurses if that’s not what they wanted to do. Hillary had her own career, and they hated her for it.

Nunes, Meadows, Gaetz, Jordan and Gohmert know they have nothing but that’s not the point of their futile exercises. They want to dominates news cycles to distract from Individual #1 crimes. That’s all it’s been about. Now it’s time to investigate them and threaten to make them compensate the country for the tax payers money that they wasted.

A new policy or law should be put in place that says lawmakers who pursue petty investigations repeatably should be held financially accountable out of their pockets. There should be a list of requirements that must be met before any lawmakers can open an investigation and if it doesn’t cut mustard-it goes in the round file.

OK but gimme a break here; pretty sure she’s white herself.

Aw, Matt Gets Gym Jordan and Mark Meadows are so very, very frustrated that no proof was ever found for any of their conspiracy theories :sob:

Actually, it says a great deal about his constituency; it just doesn’t say much for his constituency. Gohmert is not just a Representative from east Texas, he is representative of east Texas.

Louie first won his seat in TX-01 in 2004 after redistricting moved Tyler, Texas, into the district. Gohmert unseated the Democratic incumbent by double digits and hasn’t won an election with less than 68% of the vote since.

Twenty years ago, someone asked Bill Clinton about Hillary’s, “Vast right wing conspiracy,” and he replied, “It’s not a conspiracy, it’s right out in the open.” It still is. The campaign to vilify Hillary Clinton was a plan to wound a good Democratic candidate in advance of her run for President. It’s an indictment of our system that it worked. It’s a scandal that it worked among Democrats. Our American democracy is not working very well at the present time. I would like to think that we can work our way out of those problems, but it hasn’t happened yet. It’s difficult not to be sad about the state of the Republic at the present time.

“The death rattle of a years-long quest to nail Hillary Clinton, the right’s longtime bogey-woman.”
Nicely put.

"There hasn’t be nearly enough oversight over these last two years of Donald Trump,” Issa said. “And that’s to the detriment of everybody”

This is like the owner of a brothel decrying the sexual licentiousness of his employees and their customers.

They don’t even have to work that hard. They do get the same zero results though.

It’d be worth nominating Hillary Clinton for Speaker of the House, just to see whose head explodes.

Y’all should install ad blocking software. I’ve used one for years.

Oh, yes, and subscribe to Prime while you’re at it.

I’m happy with Pelosi as Speaker. Maybe Hillary could be Majority Whip?

'Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a rising star '…honest to Christ. I don’t think ‘star’ means the same thing to Republicans and Democrats. This morning I saw another ‘star’ on Morning Joe…Roger Marshall from Kansas…he could give Louie Gohmert a run for his money for dumbest moron in the House…
