Discussion for article #230026
Please somebody rid us of this vile mouthpiece.
I think we can officially turn off the Ben Stein comments now. Dude is a racist prick and if you call him on it heâd probably say something that can be reduced to ânuh uh, I canât be cuz Iâm jewish and my peoples was and is the oppressededest, which means I can talk with impunity about all my racist beliefs about black murkins.â The only thing that would ever get me to want to hear from him again is a game show called Win Ben Steinâs Execution.
Does this fool know about ⌠DUCK DYNASTY?
âthat, it seems to me, is something that Mr. Obama could have addressedâ
This sort of goes along with the article from the other day that someone linked about the belief system among whites that blames black people for their own plight and staunchly refuses to acknowledge systemic and institutionalized hurdles and obstacles that continue to oppress the black communityâŚand the fact that even liberals in the South tend to gravitate towards that belief (northern/eastern liberals being the only ones who have fully embraced the idea that there are systemic/institutionalized problems that should be addressed). Itâs all their own faultâŚopportunity is already equalâŚaffirmative action is actually favoritism and white oppressionâŚwelfare and food stamps and unemployment only encourage them to be more lazyâŚitâs all cuz theyâre so easy to get hooked on drugsâŚculture of family decay and whereâs their daddies?, etc. etc. etc.
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: âWe really really really wanted Obama to legitimize all of those positions because, as a black man, if he had just taken our side and chided the black community, we would forever be able to point at it as proof that weâre right and that things like welfare and Medicaid, etc., should be destroyed.â
Its amazing that more shit doesnât fall on Steinâs shoes when he opens his mouth.
Iâll reiterate from last weekâs comments:
I ustaâ think Ben Stein was a smart assh^le.

Didnât the SEC have problems with Stein over a pump and dump stock scheme? BuehlerâŚ?
In all honest and truthfulness, there is a slight bit of truth to the idea that Blacks have been part of the problem. It is something that many Blacks have brought up over the years. However, that said, itâs like 15% of the problem is Blacks and Black leadership and 85% institutionalized racism, White idiocy and privilege.
Some leaders such as Al Sharpton did far more damage to Blacks than helped largely because he was trying to have a power base. He was behind attempts to shut down a Korean grocer in New York City for various made up reasons. He wasnât alone in exploiting Blacks for his own gain.
Ignoring that component hurts attempts to rectify the problems faced by Blacks.
This does not stop Stein from being a racist trying to foist the problem off on Blacks or claim Obama could have done more when faced with a GOP that is so vilely racist it isnât funny.
I wanted to add something moreâŚ
It angers me that so many of the things that Blacks are accused of are actually dominated by Whites such as Welfare recipients are mostly White, etc. It seems that the GOP decided to destroy Welfare, Medicare, et al by pushing out propaganda that âlazy Blacksâ were abusing them.
Very well said.
Drug use in the blah community is the same as âregularâ people!
Ben Stein thinking he has the gravitas to talk about the issues that black people face would be like me, as a full on vagina having American, trying to talk with some kind of authority on what itâs like to walk around the planet with a big ole swinginâ dick. White men, stop acting like you have a scintilla of a clue what itâs like to be an African American just because you once watched Boyz in the Hood.
Yes, Mr. Stein is way past his âSell Byâ date, and for proof of this please note that he is now relegated to crappy outlets like NEWSMAX, where he offered his latest brain-dropping. His influence is practically nil, and he is just another crank not far from a soapbox in the public square, holding a paper bag and ranting about the evils of Bolsheviks and fluoride.
Gotta give Stein credit for coming up with a new way to market âLazy Negroâ. Man knows who his audience is.
But for marijuana possession they are 4X more likely to be arrested because police like to goose their statistics and beat up on the powerless. Related fines and fees feed the constabulary system, too, so judges, lawyers, and prison people are all complicit.
Mr T you have something to say concerning Mr Stein and his ilk ?
Ben Stein leaves out a bit of history between slavery and
drugs raging through the Black inner cities. Segregation
and Jim Crow, unions hence apprenticeships closed
to Blacks, as well as most public sector and
white collar jobs. Blacks came up from the south
in the 1930âs and 1940âs when there were factory
jobs and did fare pretty well, until the post-WWII
era when factories closed, moved to suburbs,
or were off-shored. Alcohol and numbers racket
arrived first, as Black males watched females
take on role of head of household working as
domestics and such. Mafia then introduced
drugs to the young Black males who had
drifted without role models, into gangs and
gangsta culture. Ben, do some reading.
âI mean, the real problem with race in America is a very, very beaten-down, pathetic, self-defeating white underclass that is â uh, just canât seem to get its way going in the way that whites were able to before the scourge of drugs and the scourge of meth gangs,â Stein said. âI mean, itâs an amazing thingâevery damn âFaces of Methâ poster is all white people! With horrible teeth! The destruction of families because of meth is just unbelievable.â
No question welfare became a mixed blessing
as systemic issues relegated the inner
city Blacks to their own devices later
termed âbenign neglectâ by Dan Moynihan.
How does the inner city Black community
re-constitute a family system broken several
times. White guilt is not the answer nor is
blaming the victim.
I take some solace in the fact that I won $1,400 from him in 2000 (on his show)âŚ
