Discussion: Barely Offering Support For Blackburn, Corker Bashes GOP's Campaign Arm

Bob, Bob, Bob, if you just hadn’t voted for the tax increases on your way out the door we’d take you more seriously. But we know your heart is broken because PP didn’t pay you back by appointing you SOS.

Just another hypocritical “centrist Republican” scurrying away to K Street. Fuck him.

Does the fact that Corker knows Blackburn have anything to do with his less than enthusiastic support? Asking for a friend.

Corker gives the party a parting millifuck. Too much, too late.

Why is Corker a coward?

Corker is a good personal friend of the Democrat and Blackburn is a joke. All I can say is keep this going Mitch, keep it going.

This is the Melania situation. She’s with Trump, but her heart leaps for Obama. Except she’s been legitimately abused while Corker is a mere opportunist.

I’ve seen more enthusiasm from Marvin, the Clinically Depressed Robot.

That ice cold sort-of endorsement of Blackburn ought to get McConnell in a snit real fast. Too bad Corker sold his soul for a tax cut, now he has no cred with the sane crowd and the nutjobs hate him. Welcome to Comeys world, Bob.

I’m not reading much contrition or fence-mending in there. He still likes Bredeson, can’t think of anything good to say about Blackburn beyond the letter behind her name, and mostly bashes the people that tattled on him. He couldn’t think of a reason worth stating that the GOP should stay the majority, it seems. And it’s interesting McConnell’s that concerned. Interesting and delightful. Sleep well, Mitchiekins. We’re coming.

This is what you say when you literally can’t say anything nice about someone. So I congratulate Corker for listening to and remembering his mother’s advise.

Corker seems to be getting wound tighter and tighter. I’m not sure that he’ll ever pop, in the way I think of popping at least, but it’s getting very hard for him to not speak through clenched teeth.

“I support the nominee.”

Jeez, Bob, how did that silly shit work out for you last time? Had you stuck to what I’m fairly sure were your instincts and beliefs, Clinton would be president, Russia would be far weaker, the US would be remarkably better off, we wouldn’t be playing chicken with Kim Jong Un (who’d still be the craziest world leader), and you’d still be a senator this time next year. How’s this “I’m voting for the nominee” shit working for ya?

Blackburn is a bigger birdbrain than Bachmann and Palin put together with a potty mouth that matches it. That’s what Corker knows and McConnell is counting on. This is the only thing Republicans offer voters any longer.

Next Corker will sigh and say “Well bless her little heart.” and the shiv will be solidly planted. You know you want to, Bob.

They are trying to force him to reverse his statement. He invites this by hedging all the time. He may be retiring but there is something in his future to try for but these days hedging backfires a lot. It is hard for a Republican to skate by saying little to offend. These days, if you are not offending the enemy then you are offending the Repubs Corker is being highly offensive by being nice to a friend. How dare he!
Also, Blackburn is beyond idiotic. She actually wallows in being treated as second or even third class. Ugh.

Irony meter goes off the scale
McConnell told Corker his comments were "unhelpful "
Mitch being that you wrote the book on being "unhelpful "
Opposing and stopping every piece of legislation meant to help Americans.
You Mitch, are an America sodomizing piece of grade “a” shit.
Screwing America in the ass every chance you get
The sooner you die the better this planet will be

“he never said Blackburn’s name, in either interview — and planned to vote for her.”

Hilarious. Marsha Blackburn is the female equivalent of Louis Gohmert. Seldom right but never in doubt, she has big opinions on many sensitive issues and she tries to cover up her total ignorance of the topic at hand by speaking louder when questioned. I do not believe she can win without the GOP dumping millions and millions into a smear campaign against her opponent. I understand that dumb people need representation too, but it does not mean the representative actually has to be dumb.

Ohh I love this stuff.
I wasted 5 years near nashville after retirement in blackburn’s district.
I always thought if she would just walk across the road in front of me, what would I do? Foot slipped on one or the other pedal I would have to say.
Corker gets it about her. She’s like an old used up dish rag to him. He always used her for the dirty work.
Like, here go to the media and say this and that and she would do it even if it made her look like an idiot. Which it did most times.
Never forget, blackburn was dredged up out of mississippi and thinks going to tenn was like moving to paradise.
lol If by some remote chance she made it to DC, the female swamp monster will have arrived. lol
