Discussion: Barely Offering Support For Blackburn, Corker Bashes GOP's Campaign Arm

Is this a rhetorical question…?

It’s fascinating to look at a Republican who has a shred – barely – of a conscience left try to reconcile his cognitive dissonance.

Shorter: McTurtle tried to discipline snd make an example of Corker. MSM ‘followed up’ and facilitated his effort. Corker gave pro forma obeisance but refused to act as an apparatchik.
Obviously, there’s no place in the contemporary Reactionary Party for Corker: “RINO!”

Same bullshit the soon-to-dirt nap John McCain pulled with Trump, when his word alone could have put the kibosh on Trump’s nascent march to the nomination!

All a bunch of anarchists.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Mitch. May you suffer a paralyzing stroke that leaves you unable to move of communicate, but also leaves you conscious of the world of shit you have created so that you can watch all your evil machinations come crashing down in flames on the Repuke party you’ve stupidly worked so hard to destroy. Don’t worry turtlychin, the shock will probably kill you, if you are lucky.

He’s too short. At least that was the news that was ‘leaked’ after DJT named Tillerson (whom Trump perceived as ‘looking’ like a SoS) but what do any of us know. But he sure IS a short guy. To which I say, SO WHAT? But DJT does not look at life that way.

Whenever she shows up on the tube I get ‘unhappy’ and have to change the channel. She is a hateful person who spews untruths. Constantly. And nasty.

OT.

Hannity the foreclosure vulture, with some help from Ben Carson.

Sean Hannity linked to shell companies that spent $90M on property: report

Fox News host Sean Hannity is linked to a group of shell companies that have spent $90 million buying hundreds of homes across the U.S through the help of foreclosures and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Guardian reported Sunday.

More than 870 homes in seven different states have been purchased over the past decade, ranging from large mansions to rentals for low-income families, according to the newspaper.

Notice how he (Corker) never mentioned her name. I can say with certainty he isnt going to vote for her, but we will never know that. He sent the max check…like 2000.00 (notice he didnt say me and my WIFE…which would make it 4000.00)

Support? Lets assume he has spent time with this lame brained human dirge…and understands her lack of power to reason…corker recognizes a tool from having years of practice.

Im told he does well in real estate with a little help from some bills he helped usher in along the way…under heavy protest of course…

There is less to Corker than meets the eye. The only good thing he has done in office is to announce that he will no longer seek it. Even here, we have to give Marsha Blackburn some undeserved credit. Corker seemed to be having second thoughts about his decision, but having to face Blackburn in a likely losing primary seems to have galvanized his decision to quit.

Now, it seems to me that Phil Bredesen is the most likely to flip a Republican Senate seat this cycle. Looking at candidates from the South, a key question is their support for civil rights. As far as I can see, Bredesen passes the test. When he was Governor of Tennessee, he made some statements that were supportive of civil rights, and supportive of the legacy of MLK, Jr. Along with Doug Jones, he is establishing a Democratic foothold in the South. He is a candidate that I can, and am, supporting financially.

Amen

I saw Corker with Dana Bash. His reply to her comment about his unenthusiastic support for Blackburn, was one of the most pregnant pauses I’ve seen in quite a while. Part of me liked what he telegraphed with that uncomfortable pause, while the other part of me wanted to wring his friggin neck for not just speaking the truth.
