The President of the United States bows down to the least powerful person you could imagine, (who despite his youth knows in some superficial way that he looks different from a lot of people he knows) just to show him, yeah I am just like you and (unstated but as subconsciously as powerful) you can be just like me.

Kid in Texas. The President of the United States tells some kid who doesn’t think anyone would care about what happens to him (even if it is fucking horrible), that yeah he cares, that he is the kind of person that does matter in this country, and he’d like to meet him.
