Discussion for article #230908
I love how these Tea Party types like to think anything they say is really important, let alone that what they have to say makes any sense.
There are no degrees of uniqueness. Either something is unique or it isn’t. Indeed, Ms. Bachmann would have to be very ignorant to claim she occupies a very unique space.
‘I Occupy A Very Unique Space’
Yeah the space occupied by the extremely insane, and delusional.
‘I Occupy A Very Unique Space’
somewhere between ignorant and crazy.
Yes, and in a special universe where man does not dare to go.
And in Iowa we, unfortunately, sent her replacement Joni Ernst to the Senate.
I’m not surprised. You get the kind of politicians that you deserve.
The only space of note occupied by Bachmann is the cavernous empty vacuum between her ears.
Well now honey, will you please proceed.
I wish she occupied a very unique space, unfortunately a large percentage of the GOP is there with her.
No one else can get their head that far up her ass.
Imagine the AP bothering to interview, neutrally, an elected Democrat as far to the fringe left as Bachmann is to the fringe right (a person who doesn’t exist, btw, but if he/she did). No, I can’t either.
Seriously, TPM? A fluff piece on this delusional harridan?!?
Good riddance to bad rubbish…
You take her back! You take her back Right! Now!
I think the first time I became aware of this clownish woman was during one of W’s State of the Unions, as he was leaving the House chamber, shaking hands and signing autographs as presidents do, The Girl With the Faraway Eyes put a death grip on his shoulder and wouldn’t let him go. I thought the Secret Service was going to have to intervene. Ever since, she has been a constant source of amusement, and a perfect symbol of the the dimwits that make up the right.
REWRITE!!!
“Space occupies a very unique place in my brain”
I share most of your commentators’ low regard for Bachman, but I would like to add a little substance to that animus. My daughter works in a part of the medical field that requires constant monitoring of Medicare/Medicaid/Medical Assistance programs. Many of the facilities that she works with are in Bachmann’s district. As an advocate for the poor, the ill, and those in need of medical assistance, Bachmann has been a total zero. She spent her time in Congress pissin’ and moanin’ instead of legislatin’ and advocatin’. She’s a joke; a bad one at that.
Well she did a pretty good job of getting face time on television. But how well did she represent her constituents? What legislation did she propose, what did she help get passed? It’s not possible that she spent the entire time talking smack about Pres. Obama. Is it?
