I hope people realize how absurd that was. Yelling at the press and telling them what they should be reporting, and refusing to take any questions, is not what the White House press secretary is there for. The Trump administration continues to show their desire to force their lies onto the US, and force the media to follow their message…the question is if the media is going to do that, or will it stand up and report the facts? So far, I think they are leaning towards the latter (at least the non-right wing media are), treatment like this is only going to accelerate that. At least until Congress passes the “Up is Down Act”…

Clearly Trump and Spicer have declared war on the news media. This is a very dangerous tactic, not just for them, but for the entire government, and ultimately, American democracy. That aside, temper tantrum further confirms the childish mindset of the new “President” and his minions. Do we not deserve better than this? Two days into this administration and it is already colossally embarrassing!

I think it time to start talking about the “I” word.

If the President is thin skinned and childishly insecure, you should have a White House Press Secretary who is NOT thin skinned and chidishly insecure.

He is starting at Nixon Second Term level of popularity and credibility. He has yet to show any humility or humanity towards the millions of people who do not consider him a legitimate president, and he is going to wear out till it is a laughable cliche this blame the Media for the lack of universal fawning.
