Entirely the fault of the Republicans.

Wanting to repeal without a replacement, especially after having eight years to come up with an alternative, is unconscionable.

As they continue to dawdle, the ACA will grow in popularity. And people know (should know) whatever alternative Republicans ever decide on will be infinitely worse for the average American.

GOP: Electoral College has spoken and it wants to go back to Dubya days of Health Care. Sorry.

We’re not there yet, but I think we’re inching closer and closer to the point where repeal without replacement with something significantly better is politically untenable. The dog caught the car.

I’m looking forward to the good old days / Republican plan when a single hospitalization for major illness meant bankruptcy and losing your home followed by inability to afford subsequent treatment.

I heard an interview with a woman at the March for Forcing Women to Carry Babies. She said her taxpayer dollars shouldn’t go to abortion (they don’t) or to Planned Parenthood, because women could get contraceptive coverage under Obamacare.

D’oh!

The other side of this argument is that, while I’m very worried about the people who will lose health care coverage, I’m also worried about those of us whose premiums will go up once the insurance companies reclaim their unregulated monopoly of the system.

If they can’t repeal Obamacare they won’t be able to voucherize Medicare nor reduce cost of living formula for Social Security.

That’s the sum and substance of the Republican agenda. Not reduced regulation nor abortion. It’s about tax cuts.

I don’t see the money men for the party letting them slide.

It’s a beautiful thing:

There is no way that Republicans will be able to replace Obamacare with something that is better, cheaper, and will cover more people.

Repealing Obamacare was never really supposed to happen. Republicans thought that they could keep running on repealing the ACA for years. It was campaign gimmick. No ever expected them to actually have to come up with a plan to replace the law.

Democrats have all of the advantages in this situation. The last thing that they should do is bail the Republicans out in any way, shape, or form.

Good one. Except I generally see Paul Ryan as no more than a one-celled organism, a flagellate. with apologises to the other protozoa…

You want them to fail. Their voters need to suffer, personally and badly. Until that happens this will repeat itself and they will own the house/senate forever.
