Clinton’s goon squad is already mounting a full-on character assault of Bernie. We’re all going to be attacking each other, except Clinton’s attacks on Bernie so far have been lies (GOP style).

If they stay home after watching the republican horror show, hearing absolutely nothing in the way of positive policies and continuing to badmouth any good that Obama has done, then they really must not care what happens to this country.

I truly wish I had your confidence. They stay home in the midterms in great numbers though. Why? Lack of interest or lack of enthusiasm?

Agree with you that Rubio is a threat, but you are completely ignoring Trumps significant crossover appeal. I know many of you are in denial about this, but HRC will lose against Trump. What’s worse is that we have more electable people who could be in this race, but there has been this pro HRC camp that stifles any criticism of her. She was practically appointed.

If she gets the nomination, democrats and other sane people will give her the benefit of the doubt and vote for her. Most will consider it a bunch of nonsense anyway.
True. However, this all depends on how many “sane” people there are in the U.S. 
Whatever. Almost no one even expressed interest. Running for president is a lot of work and takes a lot of money.
I’m hoping she’ll bring a lot of bright, new stars into the public eye.

Unfortunately, this started with the election to her husband as President and has continued ever since, so I really don’t see anything changing outside of the fill-in-the-blank attack line.

Perhaps with a pound of flesh on the side? I think the American public in general has shown we don’t give a shit about the true intentions of our politicians or willingness to admit mistakes… in fact, I think Trump is proving that half of our country considers it a liability.

I get the sense that the GOP is trolling the national media to generate these stories. See, e.g. the Times coverage of the scandal last year saying that charges were imminent.
Edited to add: I also think all these stories are strategically timed to boost Sanders’s chances in Iowa next week.

Not so sure about that. Valerie Plame and Brewster Jennings were in the news.
But unless this stuff was classified as Top Secret AT THAT TIME (article does not make that clear since that is not known), there was nothing illegal done.
Does not take away from the fact that she was stupid to use a private server for ALL her emails, but at this point there is ZERO evidence not only of anything illegal, but also anything unethical.
