Discussion for article #242757
âReduction of a sentence based on good works by a wealthy person can create the appearance that a defendantâs financial resources and prominent connections can skew the justice system in ways not available to persons of lesser means,â a prosecutor told the judge.
Yup, it sure can, and certainly does.
And Justice For All
(âAllâ meaning you other people, and not myself and my associates. âJusticeâ is measured by the inverse of your financial assets.)
âNo. Actually my dentist is Dr. Robert.â
Problem for the GOP here is that Carsonâs bubble is probably going to take another month or so to deflate and it isnât clear that his vote is going to Jeb? or Rubio*. So even though it is most likely Carson will be out of the race by Christmas, that will probably just leave Trump alone at the head of the field rather than allowing someone else to catch up.
Gee, and Carson now says he wonât answer questions about his past. What a coincidence!
Carsonâs Foundation gives $1000 scholarships? I put three kids through college, and $1000 is a token amount that makes almost no difference to a student who canât afford college. Itâs maybe 1/5th of the 1st semester costs of a public university, probably less. Itâs tokenism, promoting the benevolence of the giver, not the success of a promising scholar. Carson gives Christianity a bad name.
This is not his past⌠this is his present.
Trump got booed at this weekâs debate and heâs already sliding in the polls. Cruz and Rubio are the ânew and shinyâ options. And weâre still over two months from primary season.
Doesnât matter, heâll still call it a secular progressive witch hunt and compare it to Nazi Germany.
Yes, but I doubt that the American public is as gullible as Carson is.
Still searching for ANYONE in the list of TGOP candidates who is not a massive, self-serving hypocrite.
Good luck with that!
Thank god itâs Costa who was convicted! When I saw the header photo, I thought The Bus might be in trouble!
The most amazing thing here is that Costa has graduated to the big league of property investment such that the Carsons are receiving significant income from their âjointâ investments but still felt it worth his while to commit relatively minor billing fraud.
As they say, âGrifters gotta griftâ.
Canât you imagine just what the GOP would be saying if Carson were a Democrat?
âWhy donât people steal very often in Saudi Arabia?â Carson asked. âObviously because the punishment is the amputation of one or more fingers. I would not advocate chopping off peopleâs limbs,â
Thank-you!! Thank-you, Dr. Carson!!!
Put some butter on Dr. BenâŚHeâs toast.

I have never met the doctor.
