So…?
My thought exactly. Disappointing seeing TPM just regurgitate Daily Beast tabloid nonsense
“So?”, is right. TPM has slid into tabloid territory. Too bad. I don’t know who is influencing Josh. It ain’t pretty. I’ve been backing away. The party’s over.
This story is going to show up on FOX’s evening programs, at the latest, as yet another sign that AOC is a celebrity rather than a congresswoman.
(To be honest, I can envision a few Democrats making use of this story, too, and for basically the same reason. Which is a long-winded way of saying that I share @counter_coulter’s disappointment that this is here. TPM doesn’t need to be a party to this kind of thing.)
I’m waiting for the point of this “story”.
Otherwise I guess I’ll file this under who gives a fuck.
Why would a Democrat make use of this story? Do you have any in mind that would do so?
Based on the depth and breadth of her extensive congressional career?
I like AOC, but this seems a wee bit way too premature, unless it’s about her favorite drink recipes.
Tch Tcj ! AOC. don’t you know yet only white men are allowed to do whatever they please whenever they want? they can buy Porn star sex and Be President. Women have to live in a different Universe so the press can hound them and help a souless greedy Mendacious man become President
I think there are probably some party centrists who wish she weren’t held up as an avatar of the Democrats the year before a presidential election and would see this sort of story as garnering her more of that kind of attention.
“Make use,” now that I think about it, is too strong. I do think, though, that it might cause some to grumble, or grumble more.
the template of a white man reply. watch got to say about Porn Star sex. or Grabbing them by the P…y. Its time for a woman President Now and a woman Congress now! I never felt this way until the Press men and the Republican Party started attacking this woman
Writing a book, you say? How elitist! (Sigh.)
Well, only elitists read. Real Americans dig dirt.
MAGAt Enquirer’s?
I always thought of them as being on the same political wavelength.
I’m guessing it’s more about her quick journey from bartender to her current fame.
Not surprising and nothing wrong with it but, I have to be honest, I don’t think she’s (either freshmen mentioned in the article) worth a book right now. Wait until they’ve served a few terms and gotten some major bills through and have the time for history to reflect on those accomplishments (both good/bad).
However, I understand that others might disagree and the media loves a celebrity so I expect there will be books from both very soon.
Well, I think it’s comforting to know that in her heart she’s really a capitalist.
Wow. I didn’t know Nancy Pelosi wrote for TPM.
