Discussion: Anti-Vax Doctor: I Don't Care If My Kids Make Others Gravely Sick (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #232756

“I’m not going to sacrifice the well-being of my child. My child is pure,” Dr. Jack Wolfson said in the interview. “It’s not my responsibility to be protecting their child.”

Guess he missed the day, they did the Hippocratic Oath. Although this is evidence of such a callous disregard for the well being of others, I’m not sure it would’ve mattered.

Fits right nicely into the overarching “America is no longer a place in which I want to live because it’s not exactly the way I want it to be” mindset of the conservatives. They pretty much threw the social contract out the window the second they realized it would have to include people they don’t like and would not always guarantee that they control everything at all times such that they can remake everything in their image. This fucktard should have his license to practice medicine revoked. And you just know what he means by all this “their child” crap…you know exactly whose children he meant (hint: this is AZ).

My disgust for this wretch is partially offset by delight when I see the words “evil” and “clown car” show up prominently when I Google the dude’s name.

Wow.

Just.Wow.

This guy is a doctor? And he has a license to practice medicine? Wow.

Maybe Ben Carson has found his running mate!

"My child is pure"

Take your little special snowflake and the rest of your “I got mine, screw you” family and go live in a bubble. You aren’t fit for society, and, in fact, are a menace.

Also, I hope every single one of your patients becomes aware of your incredibly selfish attitude and finds another cardiologist to see. I sure as hell wouldn’t trust you after hearing this.

Do you organically grow 100% of her food? And make sure that is all she eats?

If not, you are full of dung.

The remarks are inane…we all know that. But how stupid can you be, as a practicing physician, to go public with such extreme views on community health? This guy is really dumb. If he’s your cardiologist: get a another one.

Just makes me wish it turned into one of those moments…like this guy ranting about “I wasn’t put on this planet to protect other peoples’ children” followed by the interviewer saying “that’s not what Jesus said” followed by uncomfortable silence…

Look: He’s a NATURAL CARDIOLOGIST

And, there’s contact information there.

Agreed, but he flies the “natural medicine” flag proudly. http://wolfsonintegrativecardiology.com/meet-dr-jack-wolfson/about-me/

I sincerely hope his kids never get sick. There is plenty to criticize about our healthcare system, including over-medication, but he’s taking a horrible chance with his children.

The doctor said that children should not avoid getting infections such
as measels and mumps. “These are the rights of our children to get it,”
he told KPNX.

Sadly, this is Arizona, a dessicated corpse of a state, where it’s our god-given right to be subjected to, and contract preventable diseases. I guess I won’t bother with my dogs’ rabies shots owing to my sincerely held personal beliefs that it traumatizes them and that it’s my neighbors’ god-given right to a] get bitten by rabid dogs and wildlife, and b] die a horrible and nasty death.
