Discussion: All GOPers Vying For This Congressional Seat Inclined To Impeach Obama

Discussion for article #225299

Talking points straight out of the John Birch Society written by the Koch brothers. So much for the Ripon Society.

Keep talking to appease your base . . . but you will still need to actually have grounds for impeachment for anyone else to listen to you.

I can’t WAIT to read the Articles of Impeachment:

Article I - He should be impeached for so many things

Article II - You begin to see the markings of a totalitarian state

Article III - His presidency is a scandal. He has destroyed America from the great capitalistic country it used to be

Article IV - President Obama is doing his best to tear the country down

Capitalistic? OH, you meant capitalistical.

“You begin to see the markings of a totalitarian state.”

Good grief. These are trends set in motion by YOUR team: militarizing the country’s police, the homeland security infrastructure, politicizing the media, theocrats in the house and SCOTUS, legalized torture.

This must be one hell of a gerrymandered district.

Republicans really don’t like democracy so try to undo it with voter ID laws and constant talk of impeachment. They also say democratically enacted laws are “rammed down their throats”.

“All GOPers Vying For This Congressional Seat Inclined To Impeach Obama”

Is there a crappy r anywhere vying for any seat who isn’t “inclined” to impeach Obama? They’re all “inclined” to impeach Obama because that’s the generic r meme du jour. It’s a zombie regurgitation of nothing burger r mindlessness and doesn’t mean shit except to prove they know how to toe the line. It’s too bad they aren’t inclined to pull their heads out of their asses because that’s a bigger problem than anything President Obama is doing.

There’s tyranny all right. The tyranny of small, closed and mislead minds obsessing about useless crap and desperately trying to foist their ego, hate, paranoia and arrogance on whoever is foolish enough to listen.

I’m inclined to think that these useless r’s are full of crap.

The Dow was at or near 7000 when Obama took over the Bush disaster. Today its above 17000. Is that destroying capitalism?

What did the GOP do to help capitalism in the last 5+ years? Ought, naught, zero, zippo, nada! Whining…they are the best!

From the heart of the Gold Coast of Milwaukee to the Fox River Valley, all John Birch territory. Courtesy of Allen Bradley, Fred Koch and the original founders of the Society. Founded in MA the headquarters was established in the Fox River Valley of WI.

Edited: “While George W. Bush carried the district in 2004 with 56% of the vote, Barack Obama narrowly won the district in 2008 with 49.91% of the vote while John McCain received 48.72%”

The GOP dominated the seat since 1967. It is 95.3 % white 1% black, 2.3% Hispanic and 1.3% Asians.

Actually this is a district that Obama carried (barely) over John McCain in 2008. (His vote - like in much of the upper Midwest - feel in 2012, when he lost it to Romney 53-46%).

So while it is Republican leaning, it is hardly a dark red gerrymandered district.

Democrats have a decent candidate running - Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris. While he is a bit of a longshot at this point, if the Republicans go off the deep end with their nominee he could make a real race of it.

They’re not appeasing the base. Republican House candidates who were sane but said crazy things to appease the base are a quaint vestige of a bygone era, like Rockefeller Republicans and and antislavery Republicans. No, frighteningly, they really are sincere. It’s the inability to coherently state their reasons why the ni*CLANG! president should be impeached that’s the dead giveaway.

The amazing thing is that 3 of the 4 are already serving in the Wisconsin legislature. Were their unsuccessful opponents even less qualified?

According to Obama himself, this Congress has done nothing to have this happening. Therefore the Dow today is at 17,000 regardless of Obama.

If Grothman wins, he’s going to have to move out of his momma’s basement, because her house isn’t in the district.

I’m not making this up.
