And the GOP probably knew this; this is why Christie was not chosen for Trump’s VP candidate.

Too bad, so sad. Nicer guy and all, you know?

Hey Chris, you know the best way to deflect this attention? Next mic in front of your face, dish on Trump. You’re welcome.

Chris Christie: Trumps first choice for Attorney General.
What does that say about Trump’s judgement?

“Renna, who testified before a New Jersey legislative committee that she had no knowledge of or involvement in the lane closures, left Christie’s office in February 2014. Neither she, Sheridan or Stepien were directly implicated in the scandal.”

Well, they certainly are implicated now. You know it would really be nice for a change to see these assholes held to responsibility for their actions, but I know it won’t happen.

You HAD to know that a bombshell like this was buried somewhere. Any wonder that the lawfirm Christie hired to give him cover, when required to submit its documentation in discovery, packaged it in a format that made word searches essentially impossible and also scrambled the pages?

Life is going to get interesting for Christie and his henchmen as this moves forward. That Bridget Kelly hasn’t turned on him is truly amazing. She has had to face a mountain of legal bills and the state of NJ has refused to help her cover them, while spending literally millions to defend Christie. One can only hope that when things get into the court room, that loyalty will give way to a very large can of spilled beans.

Baroni, his buddy from high school, is throwing him under the bus. Who knew there was no honor among thieves?

Only thing that would have made this even more delicious is if Christie had become the VP nominee.

And what does it say about him that he eagerly wanted and expected the nomination, knowing full well that he had lied and this revelation was likely coming? And I’m pretty sure this is just the beginning salvo.
