I’d rather have Mitt Romney, because I think he’d continue to be a voice critical of Drumpf. But really, do we care?

Hatch’s recent dust up with Sen Sherrod Brown and his grotesque fawning over Trump causes one to conclude that he is more out of touch than ever before - and that was a lot!
And thinking a scathing editorial damning him is good news, goes a long way towards showing he is out of touch, too.

He may be preoccupied with still celebrating his victory in the War on Christmas. Thanks to Trump we can all say Merry Christmas again.
Maybe he meant that the editorial opened his eyes, and the will be announcing his retirement shortly after New Years.

Apparently the newspapers editorial board has it exactly right. Hatch is old and addled and should retire.
It should read “Hatch the Fool” or “Orrin the Oaf”.
