Discussion for article #222027
a thief and a liar - is anyone from texas not?
Two Republicans in one day? And it’s not even Christmas!
Couldn’t happen to a bigger jerk
“I thus join 34 of my colleagues who have also been the subject of an [Office of Congressional Ethics] review in the 113th Congress.”
And your point is . . . Everyone does it? . . . I’m just joining a popular club? . . .?
Ethics probe? You have to have a sense of shame before you worry about an ethics probe.
Did he borrow that pair of I’m Smart Glasses from Rick Perry
I’m not…
If this is a House Ethics Committee, the Republicans on the Committee will make sure that they simply run out the clock in order not to give their own party a black eye before the elections. Bad press is a horrible reminder that most of these Republican Representatives are stinking, lying criminal bastards very much in the mold of Stockman. Once Stockman is out of office…the matter is a moot point anyway.
Too bad…the guy is a total loon.
This time I’m really not surprised.
How can he face an ethics probe when he has no ethics at all?
My good friends lives in Texas. I’d say she’s the one non-political figure who’s not.
How come the glasses are nowhere to be seen in his mug shot?
The ones who really should be investigated for unethical malfeasance are the twits who voted for this bagger.
You sure that’s Stockman? He has that Clark Kent intellectual look about him- I thought it might be Thick Rick Perry!
They can probe as hard as they like. They aren’t going to find any ethics.
Ethics? Why, who needs ethics when he’s on a mission from Jesus?
Borrowing from Leona Helmsley, ethics are for the little people.
As a native Dallasite, multi-generational Texan, you apparently do NOT know Texas is a Blue State that has been gerrymandered and is in a state of FUBAR.
I’m so ashamed of my spontaneous brain sometimes, every time I see the words “Steve Stockman” and “probe” in the same sentence, I get a mental picture that conjures up off-color humor of a sordid nature.
I have resisted turning that mental picture into words, but only because young people read this blog.
looking for ethics violations in Texas politicians is like finding a needle in a needlestack…
