Hmmm. GOP hates government. Yet they still run for public office. Why is that? I’m thinking it is for one of two reasons:
- they love their country and want to improve life for their fellow citizens
- it is a get rich quick scheme purely for personal gain (power/ego and financial).
I’ll leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine which one is more apt.
