Welp, I guess in some ways I did that thing where you become your dad, because when I wasn’t much younger than these guys he used to bawl me out by saying “You could have foreseen that…” over some non-ideal outcome from a decision. So it’s only natural but still, still, what in the hell did they think would happen after the big attack? They could have foreseen—uh—what? I know they’re not experts at foresight but Jesus, they must have anticipated something? I’m at a loss.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has investigated and reported on racist intimidation and murder of Central American immigrants in Long Island, NY. Rep. Peter King has never investigated any of it. Nor will he see any need to investigate this, surely.
Peter King is horrible. A friend who lives in his district and I waited on the returns with baited breath to see if he went. No dice. Long Island is a far cry from New York.
