I’m trying to figure out if there’s any effort put into this before he walks onto the set, or if he’s just improvising the whole time. I remember when Ailes tried to coach Trump for the debates, it didn’t go well. Trump would just blather and tell stories, and very little actual preparation happened. So I’m thinking maybe Rudy tried to talk to Trump about what they might say, and got no help, so he just shrugged and figured he was on his own, and he’s not much of a preparer himself. Hard to believe he ever had a responsible job, looking at these performances.
