Discussion: 3 Notable Things Giuliani Said During His Freewheeling Interview On CNN

chuckles

Perhaps he should pay a bit more attention to this case that “he knows everything about” right now.

Trump filed his financial disclosure yesterday, basically admitting two things: 1) that he lied on his financial disclosure form last year and 2) he did contribute to Cohen’s slush fund to pay off at least one woman he had been committing adultery with.

…and then Avenatti said he is speaking to two other women who were also put under NDA and paid even larger amounts.

That’s a problem. Because Trump DIDN’T include those in the 2017 or the latest financial disclosure.

So they get to start the whole “where did the money come from?” circus once again.

Good guy with a gun?

“Believe me, I know more about this than [person or persons at very center of issue under discussion].” Now where have I heard that before?

He’s completely un-moored and improvising IMO, and with very few notes.
Exhibit #1 - “He’s wrong,” Giuliani said. “I know more about the case than he does.”

On FBI Director Chris Wray’s assertion that the Mueller probe is not a witch hunt: “He’s wrong,” Giuliani said. “I know more about the case than he does.”

This must be the defence lawyer speaking ? to an audience of one ?

If he was one of the participants in the “Trump misdeeds circus” he may know more than most.

“He’s wrong,” Giuliani said. “I know more about the case than he does.”

For sure. Rudy was into it up to his eyeteeth during the campaign, at one point bragging about his NY office FBI sources (“there’s a revolution going on” there) and how he knew of Comey’s October surprise ahead of time (expecting it would have been released “about three, four weeks ago”); he even noted after Comey’s release of the infamous letter that “You’ll see. And I think it’ll be enormously effective. And I do think that all of these revelations about Hillary Clinton finally are beginning to have an impact.”

So who is surprised that one of the perps knows more about what was going down than the recently appointed FBI chief?

There was a wiretap of Trump Tower. For two years ending in 2013, the FBI had a court-approved warrant to eavesdrop on a sophisticated Russian organized crime money-laundering network that operated out of unit 63A in Trump Tower in New York.

The FBI investigation led to a federal grand jury indictment of more than 30 people, including one of the world’s most notorious Russian mafia bosses, Alimzhan Tokhtakhounov, who fled the US to avoid prosecution. The fugitive joined Donald Trump in the VIP section of the Miss Universe contest in 2013.

Rudy is for sur (no maybe about it) crazy but is he also deliberately obstructing justice? This has been hinted at the last couple of weeks. Not really important but the level of obstruction by Republicans makes me wonder who else has Russian friends with dirty money?

STOP IT Media! This was not ‘freewheeling’…this was UNHINGED and full of deliberate lies.

…President Donald Trump’s outside lawyer Rudy Giuliani…

“outside lawyer”?

Is that like “outside voice”?

Maybe Rudy joined Trump in bed and they put Sean on speaker.

I hope not, because if there is, it sure isn’t working. Might as well economize on time.

Once he found out about the disclosure forms, Trump had to find a new way to get cash to Cohen. Hence the calls to companies.

Three notable things Giuliani did NOT say:

  1. I am an asshat
  2. I’ve flushed my medication and am free as a bird now
  3. This is a lot like September 11

The world according to Rudy, appearing daily.

Tell us Mr. Giuliani, does God really have holes in his underwear or is it just a rumor started in your befuddled, little brain?

That’s just absurd any way you look at it. Calling the Mueller investigation a witch hunt is absurd any way you look at it. But even more it’s that he keeps saying things he has to walk back. That’s usually not a sign of having done comprehensive planning. It’s the sign of a guy who just yammers thoughtlessly. Which is why these two freaks get along but it’s no way to counter an investigation.

FBI: Oh really, Rudy? Let’s just set up a little appointment with Mr Mueller, then, shall we?
