Top congressional Democrats on Tuesday accused the Department of Homeland Security’s Trump-appointed inspector general of stonewalling their efforts at accountability, and revealed a letter, sent last week, in which he refused to cooperate with their demands.
The churn factor once again. Keep the ball in play. Well more like a balloon being bounced across that field, drifting back again to be pummeled once more. But by gawd keep that balloon in the air so no one can get a good look at it.
Not only should he recuse himself, we should get rid of the whole department.
DHS was birthed in the hysteria of 9/11 and we now know our bigger threat is from within.
I’m not sure. I guess while still an employee he might be entitled to tax-payer funded legal defense, so the opposite might apply. Maybe the idea is to leave him in place until he unequivocally lies to congress, then hammer him.
