If I remember rightly, Biden was asked and refused to get rid of him months ago. There was decent cause but not all these other reasons had piled up.

I’ve noticed a pattern with Biden in that he tends to be patient, waits until the stars have aligned in just the right orientation, then makes his move. He’s done that with other Trumpers who’ve tried to burrow into the executive branch. DeJoy should also be just about on his way out.

Cuffari was nominated by Donald Trump and was confirmed by a voice vote in the U.S. Senate as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General (IG) on July 25, 2019.
Was also a policy advisor to Arizona Governors Jan Brewer and Doug Ducey
1977 graduated from high school…went on to serve over 40 years in the Air Force
1984 - received a B.S. degree in business administration and management information systems from the University of Arizona
1995 - received a M.A. in management from Webster University,
2002 - a Ph.D. in Management from California Coast University (an online for-profit university characterized as a “diploma mill” by the Government Accountability Office) it was unaccredited at the time he attended
A 2013 investigation into Cuffari’s conduct concluded that he misled investigators and violated the inspector general manual when testifying in a civil lawsuit without approval of his superiors. The report raised doubts about Cuffari recommending law firms run by his friends to a complainant in a case he had worked on. The report also stated that while analyzing his government e-mail account the investigation found other items that could warrant further investigation.
Cuffari rejected his staff’s recommendation to investigate what role the United States Secret Service played in the forcible clearing of protesters from Lafayette Square during the Donald Trump photo op at St. John’s Church in June 2020.
Cuffari also sought to limit the scope of the investigation into the spread of COVID-19 within the Secret Service, which had been attributed to the Trump Re-Election Campaign not following COVID guidelines

Arguably - this is the face of an IG who is so willfully engaging in dereliction of duty that it is criminal.

Unless you are a USPS employee, or have been, you have no idea how bad DeJoy is.
As the low man I had to go through every sack of junk mail, on election day, before I went home to make sure not one piece of political mail was not delivered. If I found one someone would have to deliver that piece of mail .
DeJoy should have been charged with intentional delay of mail, it’s in the US Code, which would have ended him.

Now, ask yourself what would the Don do in situations where prior appointees were in his way…no hesitation…they would be replaced by “acting” people beyond the reach of confirmation procedures…damn the consequences …and if things tracked with recent events…there would be no consequences.
