DeVos Dodges On CDC Guidelines | Talking Points Memo

The Empress has no books; probably no cookies, either.

Bookcase with no books. Not even those fake books that you see in interior design galleries.

Republicans want our kids to be exposed to CV while they home school their own kids. Save the Dow Joans.

She’s ignoring the fact that China and Hong Kong opened up their schools, and had to close them down again.
Which is more helpful in educating kids the yo-yoing of open-close, open-close, or figuring out how to do it slowly and safely?

Yup. It’s already begun. The article doesn’t say if she was a union member or not. Maybe they should start including that detail. Three Arizona teachers who shared a classroom got coronavirus. One of them died

This ladies and gentlemen is the Secretary of Education. Her book shelf is akin to Old Mother Hubbard’s cupboard.

Olbermann’s worst person in the world bit comes to mind. No, DeVos is not the worst person in the world, or in this administration (redundant). But she is definitely the worst person in the world to run the department of Education. Can’t wait to hear more about how the global pandemic can be solved by all the pet issues’s she’s been pushing since day one.

I’m just marveling on how her hair is starting to blend in with the paint on her walls, the trim, and the book cases.

I would think that tax cuts and banning abortion would be highest on the list

Any guidance from DeVos would be worthless of course – incompetence remains a signature of this administration as well as malevolence – but the pattern of throwing both responsibility and blame back at the victims of the TrumPublican maladministration has reached a level of oath violation that frankly should be subject to criminal prosecution.

Words don’t really meet the need any more but can’t help saying them.

Picture of a classroom in the Netherlands -shields around desks. This could be done in elementary schools in the U.S. and the feds could help but only after the virus is under control.

That must be the same “real polls” that tell Trump he’s winning.

Should have filled her shelves with Amway products that have been reportedly good at cleaning surfaces while killing COVID-19. Missed an excellent opportunity to sell Betsy.

She’s engaging her chromatophores.

I think what DeVos meant to say was that students would be safer returning to classes in the fall if there were more guns on campus.

The administration or ship of fools is trying to play fast and loose. Keep the grift going at all costs.

This morning, I read this chilling line…

“What we’re seeing now in states like Texas is comparable to what we saw in New York City,” said Bob Anderson, chief of mortality statistics for the CDC.

Trump and his gang of idiots are going to go down. Unfortunately that take down is going to be built on body count and suffering. Yet they want to open schools. Tell me that they are not intentionally working out ways to spread the virus, that they do not want people to die and suffer. If there is a conspiracy to be had, this is the one.

Got to keep those active shooter drills sharp and fresh in the minds of our children.

No, no, no, they’re just idiots.

They’re reading poling that says parents want their kids back in school as stand alone responses not taking safety into account.

That is the cold, souless style of an interior decorator with OCD.
2 matching silver things, each dead and inelegant in shape, 4 prints of barely nothing at all against a Target-bought bookshelf painted in corpse gray.

But it is usually the task of the decorator to interpret the personality of their client, and this one has.
